In the back is a patio. On the menu two dishes are specified as vegan: a vegan burger that comes with potato cheese, mushroom, and arugula; a vegan pizza with potato cheese, mushroom, olives, red peppers, and onion. Portions are big, and staff know about all specific ingredients. NOTE: We've received reports that the potato cheese isn't vegan and is mixed with dairy cheese- please confirm and inform HappyCow. I got the vegan pizza and it was a huge disappointment.
Read moreThe pizza itself was made on what felt like a burnt pita and the potato cheese had a soft grainy texture and was really sweet. It did NOT look like the other pictures I saw on this app, maybe they changed it recently… see photo for how it looked.
The service was good and the atmosphere was nice, but my order was quite bad. And it was expensive! Please don’t get this.

The pizza is huge, ate 3 pieces & took the rest to go. The potato cheese is really good, great flavor, pizza crust was perfectly done, thin, crispy & flavorful. The veggies weren’t plentiful but sufficient. Great agua de jamaica (it is sweetened so I just asked for a glass of water & made it more to my liking but it was good) Great value.

A Great Little Spot - Edit
We had a lovely lunch here; this place can get very busy at night! Not many vegan options, but the menu is small in general. We had two juices, which were fresh and delicious, the vegan burger, and the vegan pizza. The pizza is seriously HUGE. The potato cheese was new to us, and it tasted great. We loved everything we had, the service was friendly, and the food was fresh. Nice, calm atmosphere.

They have two vegan options. We tried both. The vegan pizza was nice and tasty. The portobello burger didn’t have portobello. It have a few champignons instead and was very soggy. Also the our table was very uncomfortable to eat at.

Great vegan options - Edit
With the closure of some places due to covid, it has been hard to find vegan options in la punta Zicatela. This place not only has options, but they’re specified in their menu. It also includes sauces and toppings that are vegan as well. I had the vegan pizza (with potato cheese) that is a favorite even among omnivores. It is delicious and highly recommended. Keep in mind, they were not accepting card payment, but very few places in La punta do.
