Food is tasty - Edit
As the previous reviewer mentioned, we are also traveling through town and decided to stop here. Several locals came for catering and carry out while we were eating. We had samosas and green lentil with rice platter. The food was excellent very tasty. The chef/owner prepares everything from scratch. He understands vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, and halal diets and provides for them all.
Read moreThis restaurant has been here for 14 years. A couple years ago a cigar store opened up and the smoke bleeds through. If it bothers you, consider carry out. The food is great.
Upstairs is a lounge area with couches, tables and rugs for sitting on the floor.

Delicious Local Mediterranean Spot - Edit
My boyfriend and I stopped here on a road trip because the nearby vegan restaurant was closed. It was a blessing in disguise! The food was so good and we could see this was a great local spot (we saw several locals during our time eating there). We got the samosas, falafel wrap (swap tzatziki sauce with tahina sauce) with fries, and the sample platter which includes hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh, and falafel. The chef also understood what vegan meant and was very accommodating and helpful. The only con, which is not the fault of the restaurant, was that it's situated next to a cigar shop. When we first got there, you could smell the smoke. The smell dissipated though as we got used to it.
