Your taste buds will thank you! - Edit
Delicious, large lunch portions, friendly and lots of vegan options. This was our first time trying Peruvian food and we loved it. Hubby had tacu tacu, my son and I had Peruvian fried rice. They both ate all of theirs but they were stuffed and regretted eating so much! Lol I still had more than half left and am looking forward to finishing for dinner.

This looks like a family owned restaurant and offered very yummy food. The food took a while to come out, but was worth the wait. They had a vegan menu on the back of the menu. The tacu tacu was very flavorful. The portions are big enough for 2 people to share. The atmosphere was casual. Recommend

Understanding and flexible! - Edit
Aji Limon has been a diamond in the rough for us. They understand the concept of veganism and will adjust accordingly. I love the soy meat... really, the best I’ve had in the area. Very juicy like real meat but obvious enough you know it isn’t actually meat. I’ve tried Tacu Tacu (a fav), noodles, and fried rice—all with vegetables and soy meat. All are excellent! You can make any plate extra spicy too. I also tried the vegan potato and veggies appetizer which was the best part of the meal. Portions are HUGE so expect another meal out of the entrees, making it the best bang for your buck!

This is a lovely family owned restaurant where they make you feel welcomed and appreciated. They have a dedicated vegan/vegetarian section on the menu with a number of different selections. I ordered the Tacu Tacu con champiñones and it was very good! There was enough for two meals!
Read moreJust after we ordered, Manuel our server (who was absolutely amazing by the way,) brought us samples of Chicha Morado (Purple Corn Drink) and shared that it was vegan. He also told us how to make it and brought the purple corn to show us -- we changed our drink orders right away!
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Aji Limon and I can't wait to visit again when we're in Cape Coral.

The portion was huge. The flavor was so good. Never had Peruvian food before. Felt like a hot meal versus my normal raw plant base. Staff very helpful in helping me decide what to eat.

I had never had Peruvian food and I am pleased to say that my first try at Aji Limon was a delight. My partner and I shared a plate of the vegan house special tuca tuca. The seasonings, veggies and seitan made for a filling, colorful meal. The portions are generous and the service is great.

Just WOW!!! - Edit
I have no experience with Peruvian food, but I am impressed after visiting this restaurant. We showed up at 8 PM on a Friday, and found only a handful of people in the restaurant. Our waiter Fernando was a joy and explained to me my vegan options. I had the tacu tacu con, which is a rice and beans (I had the lentils) patty topped with veggies, soy meat and mushrooms. When my food arrived, I was ecstatic with all the colors! I love eating and cooking with different colors and textures, and was very impressed with the presentation of this meal. My BF eats meat and he tried my dish and said it was WAY better than his meal! I found this restaurant cute, quaint, clean, friendly, fast and delicious!! Will definitely go there again soon!!

locals first? - Edit
I was ecstatic to see all of the vegan options on the menu and was even more pleased to meet such friendly service when my family and I arrived. Our waitress was wonderfully attentive and sweet. However, when it came time to actually getting our food, problems arose. My family and I, four people in all, waited over an hour and a half to receive our food, only 4 entrees! We saw MULTIPLE other families come in after us, place their order, eat and WALK OUT all before we had received any food! our waitress continually refilled our drinks as we attempted to keep cool. The restaurant had people but was not nearly at their capacity/in the weeds. It seemed to us that they made sure every single local, no matter what time they came in was served as soon as possible. It put a huge damper on the positive outlook we had coming in. The food eventually came and was very good, but not many things wouldn't be welcome after nearly 2 hours of waiting! Hard to justify coming back!

What a surprise! - Edit
They had multiple vegan dishes to choose from, great variety. I love the fact that it is Peruvian and you can taste that flavor and culture even in the vegan options. Absolutely delicious and affordable. My mom ordered non vegan food and rated it a 10/10. This is definitely one of those hidden gem's (even though there was a good amount of people inside!) and I was very pleased with my meal and service.

YUM - Edit
Moved to the Cape about 2 months ago and discovered this gem last night. Hands down, the best vegan place in the area that we've discovered thus far. We had the stuffed avocados as an appetizer - it's definitely enough for two people. We also shared the Tacu Tacu dinner with mixed vegetables and soy protein. It was DELISH. In addition to the delicious food, the staff was extremely attentive and polite. A big bonus was the amazing sangria. I can't wait to go back!

Amazing Peruvian VEGAN Menu!!! - Edit
I can't say enough great things about this place! My husband and I found Aji Limon on Happy Cow and so glad we did. We have been regulars ever since. The Vegan menu is very well thought-out and huge, so many options and all are delicious. The tacu tacu with soy meat or sauteed mushrooms is to die for! The restaurant is very clean, bright, and decorated with lively South American decor. They also have two large flat screens where they slideshow beautiful landscapes of Peru...very relaxing. The staff are amazing! You are greeted with smiles the second you walk in the door. Staff is pleasant and extremely nice, they are truly glad you are there. If you are a Vegan in Lee County do not miss this place!
