Delicious vegan option! - Edit
Very friendly and accommodating owners who explained what dish was vegan. Very nice ambiance in a counter style restaurant and the food came out fast! Used many local and small farmer sources of food.

Five stars - Edit
They have a fully vegan meal of vegetable curry and side dishes. The name of the meal translates to “beautiful intestines curry”. It was delicious. They also have a soy coffee which I didn’t try but sounds interesting.

Nice first lunch in Japan - Edit
Still one vegan dish as described by the other comments (tomato-base, chickpeas, kidney beans, carrots) with rice and two small sides (pickled radish and green veggies). Very friendly owner with decent English, English menu available. The vegan dish is 1,200 during lunch time, 1,400 in the evening. An extra bowl of rice is 200.

Home-made dishes - Edit
The owner, which her christian name was Maria Rafaela, was a super nice person. Everything is prepared in front of you. There were three menu options (one of them vegan). All of them included rice, miso soup (the best!) and small dessert. It is a small and quite restaurant, which is definetly a must!

Friendly and tasty - Edit
This small restaurant describes its mission as serving healthy, home-style meals. There are three menu options: a Japanese set meal (meat or fish, soup, and veggie side dishes), beef bowl, and vegetarian curry. The curry has a tomato base, a variety of beans and hijiki seaweed, garnished with coconut. It's served with rice and Japanese pickles. All seating is at the counter (no separate tables). Since the menu is limited, the food is served quickly. Coffee, tea, and beer are also available. Some staff speak English. Non-smoking. Cash only.
