Very good and healthy food!

I love this place! I really like the karaage and soy ham cutlet. Salad lunch is sooo good with the onion dressing 😋
Tiramisu and cheese cake are my favorite. Also the pancake 🥞 with soy whip cream is really good.

nice and cosy place

Food was great and the place was peaceful as it wasn't crowded (on weekday night), so staff were a bit in a hurry to kick us out but they stayed very friendly:) will go back again.

After Ain Soph.Ripple in Kabuki-cho closed I thought I would not get to eat their Ripple Burger anymore but they have it here! We also ordered the Karaage and it was just heavenly. 100% recommendation! おすすめです！

Pros: Vegan, Delicious , Ripple Burger

Cons: Pricey , A bit far from everything

So good and great atmosphere

Had lunch there with a friend yesterday and was really impressed by the quality of the food, the quality of service and the overall set up of the place. Very comfy and stylish at the same time.

Famous for a reason

Since I don't usually like overhyped places, I visited Ain Soph with skepticism. However, both the atmosphere and food are awesome -- their signature burger is one of the best I've had in Tokyo.

Pros: Everything is vegan, Cozy, beautiful interiors, Tasty

Cons: A bit overpriced, Thin burger patties, Their French fries are meh

Never disappointed

One of my favorite restaurants in Tokyo.I really enjoyed the dishes that I ordered,Salad, soup,fried soy meat, etc.
Highly recommended.

Very fine place

I went several time, never regretted it. There are many different type of seats: chair, sofa and big cushion place (hard to describe). It is a little crowded as there is not a lot of space between the tables (table are nicely sized). With small kids (less than 5yo) this can be a little difficult and there isn't much view so you can quickly feel locked inside.

The meals are nicely sized, usually as a European I want more from Japanese restaurant meals but here it is fine. The taste is great overall (the sponginess of their karaage didn't work with me, some salad/rice plates tasted bland to me, all the rest was delicious). The menu changed since me several visits so it might improved even further.

The staff is nice but maybe too busy with the size of the room when it is crowded. Going with friends/coworkers was great thanks to some very large tables.

Definitely a nice place to go if you are around Ikebukuro.

Pros: Food quality / Taste, Seat options / Room design

Cons: A bit pricey, Service when crowded, Not nice for small kids

Good burgers!

I tried the Ripple cheese burger, it was really good! Totally recommend. Comes with fries and the best jalapeño sauce I’ve had in my life.

Really good vegan burger

I ordered the classic burger, and veg chowder. Both were very tasty. The use of sauces really give a unique flavor.
The menu is more expensive than non-veg places, but every once in a while I'd say it's worth it.

Went for vegan Meetup event and loved it

Didn't order from the menu, just had a set meal of fries, burger, and matcha brownies. The last of which was pleasantly not too sweet and full of flavor with an amazing creamy whipped topping. Great atmosphere and service!

Edit: came another time in March 2021 and had a set menu. Really nice but cost can add up!

Lovely experience

Easy 10/10, the best plant-based chicken burger I have ever ate. Friendly staff!! they even asked me my allergies. Next time I will order some dessert too! 🥰

Cold service and cold food

I ordered Hayashi rice which was cold when served. Clam chowder and Karaage were hot.
Not at all interesting. Waste of time and money.
The service is also dry and cold.

Amazing Vegan & Gluten-free Pancake!

This place is like a oasis in Tokyo where is not yet Vegan friendly! Pancake is absolutely amazing!!!

The Hawaiian Blue Chocolate Mint Pancakes are to die for!!

First of all, I want to go back again just for the pancakes, which are seasonal, so get them ASAP! They came warm, dense, and oozing blue minty sauce. Literally the best pancakes I can remember ever having.

That being said, I love the elevated seating at the back of the restaurant, and reading the Happy Cow cookbook while waiting for my food.😄One of my favorite places in Tokyo!

Get the burger (curry, maybe not)

Burgers are amazing, but the curries are a little meh. Not enough veggies, so mainly just sauce. Desserts are good too!

Para repetir de nuevo.

Es un restaurante muy bonito y sencillo, la comida es un poco cara pero esta todo delicioso y vale lo que cuesta.
Una hamburguesa cuesta 1600¥, pero son tal cual las de las fotos y están riquísimas.
Además si les pones comentarios en happy cow te regalan un postre mini (medio brownie por ejemplo, pero es gratis!).

best ain soph restaurant ✨

by far my favorite selection offered at any ain soph restaurant! they have the best burgers from ripple on top of their own chili cheese and mushroom burger. curries and salads are great as well as the pancake set!
