Tasty food in a lovely setting. Vegan section on the menu

Harbour side restaurant with a clearly marked vegan and vegetarian section. We thought it was reasonably priced considering the harbour front setting. Under 30euros for two meals and a side with water.

Pros: Vegan marked on separate section of the menu, Tasty food , Reasonably priced

Vegan menu

Reasonable separate vegan menu. Good options. Food was tasty and the staff were friendly. The service was a little slow but I wasn't in a rush. £21 for starter main and .5ltr house wine, Okies olives and bread. Very good. Right on the harbour with lovely views across the bay. Recommended.

Best option in Sami

We stopped here as it was the only place with a separate vegan section on the menu. For starters we had the dolmares, fries and olives which were all nice. For mains we had the imam and briam which were tasty but we'd advise fries on the side as the portions weren't huge. No complaints though, the staff were friendly and the place was busy in the evening.

Nice family restaurant with seperate vegan menu

Adonis is right beside the oceanside of the port, has a nice view and clearly mentioned vegan options on their menu. The waiters were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered a mix of starters (dolmades, skordalia, giant beans, mixed salad and briam), with bread to share. Sharing the plates, everyone was able to taste the dishes and they were delicious. Personally we had better skordalia before but all in all we left happy and full. The menu also offers some ovo- and lacto-vegetarian options specifically on the menu.
A little tip: there a lot of wasps attacking the food. You can ask the waiters to bring something (incense or similiar) to burn which makes the wasps go away. It's usually free.

Good tasty and many vegan options

Love that restaurant, so many vegan portions, like fried eggplants, fresh fries, oven baked beans, imam and two salad options. Good portion, fresh with sea view of Sami.

Pros: Tasty food , Traditional Greek cuisine , Nice price

The best restaurant in Sami..

Great value, delicious vegan food
This is totally the type of vegan food to make you say WOW! Even my husband who is not vegan, and usually declines ‘vegan’ food, was impressed.

Vegan menu section!

We ordered the Briam and the Skordalia with a side of bread. Really enjoyed both. Great combination, in fact! Recommend.

Not the best sadly

Checked this place out as was in the area today. Nice people running it but the food I ordered seemed stale and just reheated, also was very greasy and not in a good way! My husband enjoyed his spaghetti and a large mixed salad. The fresh lemonade was really nice.

Pros: Vegan menu section , Nice fresh lemonade , Spaghetti Napolitana was reasonably ok

Cons: Not great as was stale and greasy, Boats were mooring right next to us so noisy

Very, very poor food

Visited on a Monday evening at around 7:30, we were the only ones at the restaurant where the others next door were pretty much full.

Ordered the mash potato with garlic and the vine leave to start. The mash potato is an acquired taste as it is cold but not the worst thing in the world. Vine leaves were oily but still had some pleasant flavour in the seasoned rice.

We then ordered a Briam and Imam. The Briam was slop on a plate, covered in oil so the potatoes were mushy and the vegetables tasted old. The imam was a plate of old onions with slimy aubergine below.

We complained and went for the spaghetti napolitino instead as they surely couldn’t have got that wrong. This was plain spaghetti with half a tin of chopped tomatoes each on top (photo attached).

Only positives are they gave us a refund on the Briam and Imam, would not recommend.

Pros: Situated on the harbour so you see all the boats, Cheap

Cons: Oily, soggy food, Microwaved, Poor replacements

Fantastic to have vegan and veg options marked on the menu, everything I tasted was really really tasty, good sizes and very good value for money. Great service and great views. No complaints here

Average Food

Restaurant has a nice variety to choose from, but the food was a little disappointing. Some of the foods seemed to be microwaved, others had somewhat of a slimy consistence. The bread was dry. We hat the giant beans from the oven (pretty sure have just seen a microwave), the olives, the imam (slimy/oily) and the briam. Both of the mains seemed microwaved as well because of their mushy texture.

It was after all very cheap, we only paid 24€ for two starters, two mains, two iced tea and the location is beautiful.

Pros: Beautiful Location, Cheap

Cons: Questionable Quality of food, Fishy smell all over the place

I loved the imam

It is a nice restaurant with terrace on the port. Staff is friendly and is instructed about vegan and vegetarian topics. I had the vegetarian moussaka one day and the imam the next day, and really loved the latter. But the menu is full of labelled vegan and vegetarian dishes I didn't have the time to try.

Pros: Lots of vegan option, Friendliness
