Vegan options - Edit
Moving to the area, I just went into the restaurant, asked what options would be suitable.
Read moreMany places don't know what's vegan but they know what's vegetarian, so a good place to start is by asking which of the vegetarian has milk/butter/ghee/eggs etc.
The chef came out and gave us a menu, crossing out all that had dairy/eggs. Very personalised and honest.
Eg. No naans, but chapattis and rotis are fine. Samosas, bhajis, plain boiled rice, many non-creamy curries like the Andhra, saag, bhuna, Rogan Josh, jalfrezi, etc.
