I tried Ethiopian food for the first time here and wasn't disappointed! Very unique and tasty flavours. The waiter was very friendly too😄I recommend!
Read moreSide note: make sure to specify vegan when ordering. They can prepare the dishes vegetarian as well which means adding butter as far as I know.

It's nice to have this Ethiopian option in Mainz. The restaurant is pleasant and close to the train station. The service is pleasant and friendly. Compares well to many Ethiopian places I've eaten at in the US.

The mixed platter (which can be made vegan) is nice if you want to try different food, but the one we thought tasted best was a dish you had to order separately, the ground chickpea dish. The food is served with the traditional bread, which is also delicous.

Nice Ethiopian food, eaten with your hands from the traditional flat bread, which is delicious! The vegetables are a mix of hot spicy legumes and pickled cabbage. Quite nice but not a huge variety of veg options

You get a lot of nice food for a reasonable price. The staff is really friendly. We were even offered a small refill but unfortunately had to decline bc we were full already. One more thing to mention: you eat with your hands ☝🏼
