Great Food!

This restaurant has been here for many, many years and consistently provides delicious vegan options. The service is genuine and friendly and the servings are generous.
I have dined here dozens of times over the years and you will never leave this restaurant hungry!
There are many vegan options on the menu and I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Pros: Cozy ambience , delicious Ethiopian and Eritrean cuisine, friendly service

One of the best in Adelaide

This place rules. 7 or 8 vegan options, Including a trio platter which is my go-to. Super super friendly staff that make you feel welcome. Amazing value. (Would give 5 stars if the app allowed me)

Have been here quite a few times and have loved the food and hospitality every time, very traditional experience all food is eaten with your hands and the authentic flavours of the dishes are amazing, extremely good value for money trust me you will not leave with feeling like you could eat more. Would recommend. Staff are the loveliest people ever.

Delicious Ethiopian food, so filling!

Zed who runs this cafe, is just the loveliest person. They fully understand what vegan means, and the vegan options are so delicious. It's traditional Ethiopian style, with injari (spelling?), a sour pancake bread that break off and scoop the various dishes up in. I recommend the mixed veg platter, but the beans and the yellow split peas are must try's. Be careful not to over order, it gets very filling very quickly! We live in Adelaide and return here regularly.

amazing food!

we were so happy to find this place close to zenhouse on port road. they even advertise their vegan options in front of the restaurant. we had different mixed vegan plates with either 3 or 5 dishes. they offer red (spicy) or yellow lentils, spinach, cabbage with potato and carrots, chickpeas, and other delicious vegan options.
the injera bread is very filling and its an amazing experience to eat with your hands and taste the different spices and flavours. the owner and his wife are very welcoming and friendly. they also offer vegan coffee, tea, and some softdrinks.
as they don't serve alcohol, guests are encouraged to being their own beverages.
definitely a lovely place!

Pros: amazing vegan options, friendly owners, atmosphere
