Great spot!

Didn’t look like they had that many pre-prepared options, but they had a vegan bowl they prepare in front of you which is what I got. It came with a rice and quinoa base, carrot salad and cucumbers, tofu in a red sauce and falafel with hummus, choice of two vegetables (I got broccoli/cauliflower and green beans/zucchini), and bread on the side for €13.50. Very reasonable, everything was delicious and fresh. Great after a visit to the Louvre!

Good but not Paris-good

It was a quick option when better alternatives are already closed for lunch. They offered a moderate selection of vegan meals, but everything looks healthy and is organic. The prices are rather low.

Pros: Fast, Healthy, Inexpensive

Cons: Taste was so-so, Not too many vegan options

Fast and Convenient but expensive

The restaurant was conveniently located close to our transit station Paris les halles (nex to exit 1).

They offer a lot of ready made salads of which only one was vegan. It was okay but not really tasty. We also filled up our own box (they can way it beforehand) with warm dishes. There were quite some vegan options, enough to full our lunchbox. It's great that you can fill up your own box to reduce waste with take away food. The taste of the warm dishes was more flavourfull. Overall we payed 30€ for a small lunch withour drinks or desserts. So good if you need something quick, but I would pass by especially

Pros: ready made, own packaging possible for warm meals, close to the station

Cons: expensive, limited vegan salads

Heavily overpriced

We were in a hurry and wanted to grab something on the go. HappyCow directed us to this place. There was a buffee with various warm dishes, most of which were vegan. We took a lasagne, falafels, cabbege salad, carrots and potatoes. A small portion, which was enough only for one person cost us 12 euros. The taste wasn't bad but not particulary good either. We don't reccomend this place, there are lots of options nearby and this is definately not worth a visit.

What I like most? Their desserts :-)

This organic canteen is a valid option for those with allergies, as everything is clearly labeled, and prepared food is nicely explained to all. The food is fresh, and the options for gluten or lactose intolérants are plural. The location offers seating tables and usually it is a good option in this busy neighborhood!
Another bonus, it is possible to eat there in quiet hours.

Pros: organic, clearly labeled: vegetarian, vegan, GF, price range is accessible to all

Cons: labels are in french (don't hesitate to ask!)

beaucoup d'option vegan

Reasonable options, in a pinch

We popped into this little café as it was right by our hotel and we were too tired to go further afield. There were a few vegan options (I had quite a nice salad), but their sandwiches are tiny! They had lots of baked goods but none were vegan, most were gluten free.

Pros: Great for a mixed group as they cater to vegans, o

Cons: Limited vegan options

great healthy option

Only went there for a dessert and a slice and it was both super yummy and not too sweet. Everything was clearly marked vegan and the staff was very helpful. Also the salads in the fridge looked really nice. With the warm buffet I didn't like the fact that meat was right next to vegan dishes and spoons could be used for both - so I noticed some chicken in the vegan dish. Not their fault, but could be designed better. The other thing I didn't like was that the desserts and slices were all already wrapped and packed in plastic.

Pros: healthy, yummy, clearly marked vegan food

Cons: too much plastic

Casual spot at Chatelet

This is more a casual diner, takeaway and healthfood shop than a restaurant. I got a bemused look when I asked if they had a table for one for an early dinner! You just take a tray and help yourself. There is a buffet of various warm (not hot) dishes; mains are sold by weight, which is a bit strange. Watch out; most are vegetarian/vegan but not all. They are well labelled but you will need your French. All the information about set menus etc is chalked up on blackboards (in French). I had the set dinner, which was €12 for a main of 280g and either a starter (small salad) or a dessert.

I chose a quinoa and lentil salad with a Thai dressing for a starter and a selection of vegetarian dishes to make up a main. The salad was good. The main dishes I tried were very much 'catering' but perfectly edible and there was a good range of vegetables. However, it was an hour and a half before closing and some were nearly finished. I had some Moroccan chickpeas, courgettes, some red cabbage and some rice with cabbage. I also had a green iced tea €3.90, which was fine but would have been better in a glass with ice. The dining area was pleasant and clean and I was quite comfortable dining solo.

The lady behind the counter needed to be prompted to explain the system and the options but was pleasant and helpful once I asked questions. We managed mostly in French but she seemed to speak some English too.

Pros: Central location, Ethical stance, Set menu good value

Cons: Warm, not hot, mains, Plastic plates

Closed!

Went to have long at this resturant on Monday (19 August 2013), after a very long walk this resturant was unfortunately closed. This contradicts info of resturant on happy cow. Not sure if its just for summer or whether it's always closed Sunday, just a heads up!

good soup!

I had a tub of soup there for my much today, it was very tasty and reasonably priced - €4.50 and it came with bread. The girl working there was very friendly and helpful and it was a nice chilled out atmosphere. They had many sandwiches salads, bakery goods and snacks too. A nice place!

Pros: great chilled out atmosphere , friendly staff

Cons: could be more obvious what is vegan - veg things w, soup could be a bit hotter

Great little deli/restaurant

This is a great casual spot. You can choose between a bunch of cold sandwiches and salads and sides, or a hot buffet sold by the kilo. Bread and some baked good are also available. The service is super friendly and helpful, a huge attribute! Lots of choices for vegans and those avoiding celiac. It's a unique find in Paris and great for when you want something quick and casual.

Pros: Fast, Friendly, Variety

Cons: Sells fish and chicken items

Organic and veggie-friendly

Le Bio d'Adam et Eve is nearby Les Halles, which makes for a perfect rest stop. I was pleasantly surprised by the quinoa and sprout salad and the variety of healthy and tasty food. Lots of gluten-free goodies too. A salad here fills you up nicely and at 7 euros that is quite difficult to find elsewhere in Paris. If you want something warm: there's a warm buffet and soup on offer as well.

Very good biological restaurant

Le Bio d'Adam et Eve is a very good adressee!
The proposed assortment is extremely varied, whether it is in entrances, in warm dishes, in sandwiches, in desserts, amuse mouths, seeds, breads, milk vegetables, seaweeds and the others. We find also very rare food in catering (germinated seeds, tofu, seaweeds, plant milk) there. The waitresses are smiling and caring. We smell that the health of the consumer, the taste, the freshness and the quality are a permanent concern.
I really like this place !

Pros: excellent food, healthy cuisine, friendly staff
