Rude owners and a scam - Edit
The hosts were extremely rude, ordering us off the property for not immediately wanting to order food without seeing a menu and prices.
Read moreFrom speaking to other people locally, they charge upwards of £20 for coffee and cake.
Very strange atmosphere, definately more going on there than meets the eye. Can't believe how rude the woman was.
Pros: Lovely scenery , Easy to find the exit
Cons: Attitude of the hosts, Atmosphere

A very welcome break from cycling - Edit
This café is perfectly located on a very long, uphill cycling route out of Inverness, so by the time we got there we were very ready for some food! The owners are so friendly and welcoming, they are more than happy to chat for a while. The café itself is outdoors; it's eclectic, charming and we could have stayed for hours!
Read moreThere isn't a lot of choice as the whole site seems to be quite off grid, but what's there is home-cooked, fresh and delicious. I had a lovely butterbean soup and my Dad had a lemon cake - unfortunately the cake wasn't vegan so I couldn't have a slice. Dad also had a nice wee cheese & oatcake plate (again, not vegan). It's quite expensive but it seemed fair given how out of the way it was, and the serving sizes are generous.
Pros: Friendly owners, Quirky, peaceful setting, Great on a sunny day
Cons: A little pricey, Not many vegan options

A great experience - Edit
I really loved this cafe. I came across it by accident as I was riding the Great Glen Way but saw a sign that said vegan options available and decided to give it a go. I was the only person there when I arrived so I got to experience walking through the wooded dining area wondering where to go which was more magical than it sounds. The owners are amazingly kind and welcome. The food they serve is either grown on their own land or sourced locally.
Read moreThey have vegan options which consisted of soups, cake, hummus and vegetables, and a fruit platter. They didn’t have non-dairy milk when I went however the peppermint tea and fresh juices were really really delicious.

Brilliant - Edit
With encouraging signs to keep you going down the 1km path to the cafe, this is a cute and quirky experience. The owners are more than happy to chat and are really interesting. They have over 150 drinks available, and some good food options so you will leave satisfied.
Read morePros: Quirky, tasty cake, very friendly
Cons: About as expensive as a Starbucks (not bad really)

Very unique - Edit
Not entirely vegan although the owners are very happy to cater to any preference. You'll never have a café experience quite like this in the middle of nature and with such eccentric and chatty hosts!
Read moreThe lemon cake was amazing as was the vegan soup, if you do order a coffee or tea you'll get a whole pot.
The café is off-grid although they do have facility to pay by card.
