Not a lot of Vegan Options, Small Portions - Edit
I visited A Beautiful Mess years ago when they first opened, so I was excited to visit their new location. Their drinks are great, and I was excited for the food, but the service was very slow, and they got my order wrong, so they took even longer.
Read moreI was excited to get my dish (they only have one vegan main, the oyster mushroom shawarma) but it was extremely disappointing. The portion was extremely small for the hefty price of €15.50 and it was merely some marinated oyster mushrooms served on 2 leaves of lettuce, no sides, no bread or sauces to go along with it. The mushrooms were just fine, but nothing that you can't make at home.
It all just felt like an afterthought, so I wouldn't go there if you're vegan, or if you want a filling meal. Are you vegetarian, or only want to check it out for drinks or a snack? Then go for it and support this beautiful project!
Pros: great drink options, central location
Cons: overpriced, only 1 sad vegan main, slow service

A beautiful mess! - Edit
A great selection of food from different cultures, but that still feels very cohesive. Great flatbread and dips! Only 1 vegan main dish, but plenty of great sides. The vegetarian options are very good.
