Vegan pizza not on lunch menu, but they made it for me anyway - Edit
The vegan pizza is only on their dinner menu. However they made it for us when we asked.

I wasn't expecting to find places that really catered to vegans here in Hakone but they were super flexible and also immediately offered up their vegan pizza that was not shown on the menu! It was delicious and they were very friendly and fast at getting the food out!

Had lunch here at the start of Golden Week, and it was crazy busy! The pizza was great, and they have a vegan pizza option that isn't listed on the normal menu. The food is prepared quickly, and the coffee is decent too😄

The only labelled “vegan” pizza option was crazy expensive and more than a regular pizza with meat and cheese? Not sure why? Seemed like they were using the fact it was “vegan” to bump the price up!

Still quite expensive for just tomato sauce pizza with olives.
Pizza was cooked well, and in a clay oven.
Wouldn’t say it’s the best place for vegans :(

Pros: Vegan pizza quite decent , Chili oil for extra flavour

This restaurant was absolutely delicious. All produce are from Italy and the pizza and tiramisu were one of the best I have had. The waiters were really inviting and delightful and one spoke perfect English. There’s vegan pizza and vegetarian pizza. You can add extra toppings and I’m sure you can ask without meat if you want a pizza on their menu but without the meat.
Read moreThey also have salads like tomato mozzarella and bruschetta without meat. They also have a soup which might be vegetarian I’m not sure. It’s a minestrone like soup with beans.
