Nice gallery cafe with a few veggie options. - Edit
The cafe is a modern extension of Whitworth Art Gallery - Grade II listed building - and is located at the back of it. It is open to general public and can be accessed through the main door. Visiting the gallery is free (subsidised by the Government). To get to the cafe, walk through the vestibule, get past the foyer (shop), turn left and walk down the corridor - the cafe is on the left. Even though you don’t have to see the art to eat/drink in the cafe, seeing some of the art, depending on the exhibition, can be a wonderful experience. As to their menu, their soup is vegan, and there are a couple of other vegan options available. It’s a basic, canteen-style cafe, but thanks to the location and the glass walls, it benefits from calming greenery of Whitworth Park. Great place to be in on a sunny morning! It’s open from 10:00.

Cute cafe - Edit
We ordered both the Withworth vegetariam breakfast and made it vegan by removing the scrambled eggs. I‘ve looked online and they‘ve had a vegan breakfast but must‘ve changed it to vegan now. The breakfast was not bad, but nothing too special and a bit overpriced. The oatmilk cappuccino is great tho and the view is nice!

Expensive but tastes good - Edit
The breakfast is expensive at £15 bit is really filling and even has pudding. There's no vegan pastries which were disappointing and the staff are a bit slow. It's part of a lovely gallery in a beautiful park and there's seats outside.

Cute cafe with good vegan options - Edit
I’ve been to the cafe a few times for a hot drink ( recommend the mocha and the chai latte). I ate there for the first time with a friend I got the pea and mint soup and it was only £2 extra to add a salad to chips. My friend got chips (which weren’t great b ur at least they had vegan mayo) and I got a big bowl of pasta salad. They had a few vegan cakes including a Jaffa cake cake which was amazing!! I would defo go back just for the cakes !

The vegan options are very tasty! - Edit
I love coming here. Not only it has a lovely view to the park, but the park outside has many squirrels and magpies.
Read moreThey often have vegan cakes and they are always super delicious.
My favourite one is the vegan Jaffa cake. It’s one of the best cakes I ever had! If they have it available, don’t forget to order it, you won’t be disappointed. We had a slice and had to go back for seconds.
I also had an espresso loaf from here, which was also incredible.
