Fabulous for vegans and vegetarians - Edit
The staff were so welcoming and helpful and explained what ingredients were used in different items we hadn’t tried before. The range of dishes for vegetarians and vegans was amazing and we can’t wait to go back for the vegan buffet. The vegan brownie was absolutely divine!! Would give it 5 stars in possible.

A Halifax treat - Edit
On buffet-Sunday, it’s quite a treat to have an enjoyable vegan buffet meal at this otherwise omnivore eatery. It’s hidden away, bizarrely near Cow Green & Bull Green, but inside there’s a pleasant ambience & a smiling greeting from the staff. On one Sunday evening a month, I can’t think of anywhere better to eat out in Halifax.

Our first time at this restaurant. The waiter was friendly and helpful. There were loads of options for vegans and veggies and the food was delicious. We'll definitely come back and try the vegan buffet which they do once a month.

This lovely, quirky restaurant had lots of clearly labelled vegan options on the menu. The jackfruit kothtu and kanda bhaji I ordered were both delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and on seeing my order the chef came out to ask if I was vegan and told me about how lots of Sri Lankan food is naturally vegan and they are very proud to have an extensive vegan offering on their menu. The food did take quite a long time to come although the restaurant was quiet, but we weren't in a rush so this wasn't an issue and perhaps an indication of everything being freshly made. Very much worth a try and great to have some vegan options that felt fresh and healthy and were a bit different from the standard vegan offerings.

Lovely large range of options, lots of different flavours! If you book ahead with at least 12 people there is a vegan buffet held on the last Sunday of every month, but I’ve not managed to make it to one yet! #Veganuary
