Amazing falafel - Edit
So glad I found this place!! As a vegan abroad I feel like I just have salad and chips where ever I go! But I was so glad to stumble across 3 spoons.

Vegan Gyros not on the menu anymore but the staff was very honest and said they were not happy with the supplier. Understand what vegan is and menu is clearly marked.

Great vegan moussaka - Edit
Strolled on the street and found this little gem. Their vegan moussaka was amazing - I just wish it had more moussaka and less fries! Very friendly service, though we had to ask for the bill twice before we got it. It did get pretty busy at around 8-9PM.

Not a very positive experience here. The kitchen seemed to be having issues, the table behind us complained quite a few times, I think about the food being cold. We could see the kitchen and could see it was not a happy place to be. Hopefully it was just a one off though.

3 Spoons ist ein nettes Restaurant in der Altstadt von Kos Stadt. Man kann herlich schön draußen sitzen unter den großen Schirmen und Bäumen. Insgesamt alles sehr gepflegte. Lädt ein zum verweilen. Für alle Biertrinker - großes Bier ab 2,50 Euro 😉

The food was really tasty! For starters we had bruschetta, hummus & dolmedes (rice stuffed vine leaves). Mains we had vegan gyro and vegan mousakka. The staff were really friendly and attentive as well and the atmosphere was lovely.

There are indeed a few vegan options that sound really good. I had the vegan gyros plate with „vegetables“ which turned out to be two slices of cucumber and tomato each. The portion was very big and filling, but I did not love the gyros made out of chickpeas. It was really soft, oily and not so intense. The French fries were really good though. Prices are higher than at other places.

There's a few vegan and a few more vegetarian options, eg. Veggie gyros and (I think vegan) stuffed paprika and tomato. Could be spiced a bit more but it's decently yummy. Remember to ask for the dormages without the Joghurt dip!

Read moreThe waiter seemed a little confused as to what vegan was and gave us a cheese pizza but he was apologetic and made a new one without. Vegan section on the menu with about 4 main meals and other veggie options that can be altered.
