Watch out for the shisha 😬 - Edit
Came here for dinner and had the club sandwich and quinoa salad. Both were pretty average with the quinoa salad being the nicer option. I did appreciate them carrying vegan cheese for the club sandwich though.
Read moreAfter we were seated, they sat another couple right next to us who only ordered shisha and kept blowing it towards us which was very unpleasant as non-smokers. It isn’t made clear from their profile but this place is primarily a shisha bar.

Shisha is a new addition yo our restaurant the last 3 years in the 10 years we run and the vegan menu 8 years so we are mainly a restaurant .Thank you for the information and we hope to make it up to you .

Went here after reading reviews. Myself and my daughter both had pasta dishes the portion sizes were large and very good. We will go back and try the breakfast.

I had to come back here several times to enjoy their unique vegan omelette. It was so yummy and such a big portion - definitely good to share. They have a separate vegan menu with so many options. The smoothies were also amazing.

I thought it was great that they had a full separate page for a vegan menu and the staff were aware of veganism. The food was a bit disappointing though, both the vegan spinach pie and the cauliflower with sweet potatoes dishes were lacking flavor and neither were filling. They both could have used a sauce or some seasoning. The cauliflower felt old, it was soft and not very warm. I'd recommend choosing other dishes.

They have an entire vegan menu. Someone else posted the picture. They accommodated our group of 15 Instantly. service was friendly. It was awesome to be able to pay separately!!! Terrific experience. The quinoa salad was absolutely the best salad I’ve ever had.

Charming and cozy with a separate vegan menu including quinoa salad, vegan (Beyond) meatballs, vegan soups, vegan club sandwich, linguine with meatballs, vegan tiramimmouse with hazelnut and more. Good quality food, fresh and delicious. Full bar. I would give it five stars but it has a full menu for your meat eating companions. Excellent service. Off the busy main drag with good music and even better vibe.

We had the fried potatoes and they we‘re really tasty but kind of bland if you don‘t eat them with the onions. The club sandwich was also very sweet because of the caramelized onions. I feel like they put in some syrup or sugar so I‘d only recommend it to people who like sweet main dishes. It was a really big portion though so if you‘re really hungry I‘d recommend it. My friend had the roasted cauliflower but it was also pretty bland too. Also the portion was too small for the price you pay. Maybe we didn‘t choose the right meals but it was fine. The staff was really really nice tho. I think the burgers are also a good choice. They looked really good😄

We ordered the Zucchini noodeles Aglio e olio and the light Club (Sandwiches with Fries). The noodeles were worse than expected, little Taste and very hard.

I'm a Vegan food blogger and I've reviewed many restaurants, I've been to Gemma Bistrot and I found it bad. The service is very slow, the music is blaring while you eat. the dishes presented are INDECENT, potatoes and onions were frozen, the zucchini spaghetti should be served cold instead they were hot stews with a flavor I don't like, the vegan omelette did not taste like omelette and was not pleasant on the palate. Approximate dishes, little care, most of the dishes seen on Happy Cow was not the one served. Everyone goes to drink, hardly anyone to dine. Not recommended.

We tried the pumpkin soup, the quinoa salad, and the linguine with vegetables. I enjoyed the pumpkin soup, my daughter thought it had too much pepper in it. The salad was absolutely amazing and I was able to take half of it home. Unfortunately, the pasta did not do as well. I was expecting a traditional marinara, and there were spices in there that just was not expecting. I think Cinnamon. I didn’t send it back because it was my choice but we didn’t eat it. The restaurant was very accommodating and provided us with a free tiramisu dessert which my daughter enjoyed.

Went to Gemma based on some really good reviews on here, but wasn’t particularly impressed by the menu options or the food itself. The atmosphere was nice (nice location and outside seating) and the staff very friendly. But based on the food I wouldn’t go back.
