Fantastic pizza for vegans! - Edit
We loved eating here. You can get slices or you can get a whole pizza. Even if you are not vegan, the pizza is very good and you can get it with toppings.

Best pizza I've had in years and I'm from a place BOOMING with Italian influence and pizza places. Two staff members I interacted with were warm and kind. Indoor seating in the back too! The ice cream sandwich had delicious rich chocolate ice cream and home made style buttery chocolate chip cookies. I also think this is an LGBTQIA friendly space as they offer all-gender restrooms. Would absolutely recommend and I would go here again!

Excellent vegan pizza - Edit
This was our first night on a Philadelphia vacation - picking up a pizza, a salad, and some garlic knots to take back to our hotel. The pizza was cold by the time we got there, unfortunately, but it was still delicious. The garlic knots are incredible. The salad was quite salty, but my dad likes them that way anyway.

Square Sour Dough Goodness - Edit
Tried the Grandma Pizza and the Hot Potato and they were both delicious. The sour dough crust was chewy and luscious. The Pee Wee’s ice cream was also delicious. Highly recommend this spot.

Read moreMy only complaints are that it's a smidge pricey for me, which is what makes it a treat, but hey! it's a specialty food place in Center City, of course it's gonna be a little pricey. Also, when I had it delivered, it arrived near-cold (this was a while ago though, and all I had to do was pop it in the oven for a few minutes, no big deal).
The staff is very amiable and friendly, and I'm glad that Blackbird was able to pass the torch onto their sister restaurant so graciously.
However........if y'all brought the wings from Blackbird to 20th street......I'd die and go to heaven. literally.

I was a big fan of Blackbird pizza back in the day. Since they dont serve pizza anymore, my husband and I took a trip to 20th street to fill my pizza craving. I got the square with mozzarella and basil while my husband got the white pie with kale. The kale on his pizza was huge. He thought it would be shredded or chopped into tiny pieces, but it was large pieces of kale (he said it was okay, but he had to add hot sauce to it). My pizza was meh. It wasnt terrible or terrific, it definitely tasted better when I reheated it the next day. The pizza here is definitely not as good as I remembered from Blackbird. Oh, I also got garlic knots and those were really good.

I've only had the pleasure of eating their food once, but I'm obsessed. Their pizza is the best I've ever had in my entire life, without any doubt (that includes all of the pizza that New Haven, CT has to offer).

I always prefer red-sauce pizzas, but their white pizza is *chef's kiss*. Seriously sublime. The garlic and lemon ricotta are beyond delicious.
Plain and hot potato were both amazing as well. Their crust is crispy, chewy, and perfect.
It's everything I look for in pizza and I'm so sad that I can't eat their food more often.
This place lives up to the hype.

Most slices are bomb, if they have Stromboli by chance (not always as it’s a special), try it. This pizza place outshines most of the regular cheese pizza in center city.

After finding out that their other location, BlackBird pizzeria, no longer sold pizza I headed over to this location and found it to be good but less options compared to BlackBird and good luck getting there in a car if you’re out of town—took me 37 minutes to get here from BlackBird in a car around 1pm on a Friday

So glad I decided to try this place. For me, vegan pizza is always somewhat of a let down but this was hands down the best pizza I’ve ever had. I like my pizza on the thinner side so this was right up my alley. I got 3 different slices, all equally delicious and fresh. Friendly staff as well.

The cheese they use is perfect and they really load each pizza up with ingredients--so flavorful I love the Haymarker and the Balboa. A little pricey for bigger pizza but the variety and quality are equal to the price

This place is dedicated to vegan pizza and they do an amazing job! They have many choices of toppings and the only one I would not recommend is the plain cheese one. I think you can order individual slices now which is great. A bit pricey but worth it!
