Fantastic comfort food - Edit
Highly recommend the laksa and mee goreng. This is one of my go-to spots when returning to Manila or showing friends around.

Would give it 5 stars - Edit
Had a great vegan laksa, eggplant and vegemeat and Kung pao tofu. The portions were massive ! The price was decent and the service quick and friendly.

Welp - Edit
When I asked what the vegan nasi goreng’s vegemeat was made of, the waiter said it was soy, so I ate it and it was gluten, so be careful. After that, they changed to tofu. Also, you have to pay extra for the plastic container when you take it home.

Good choice for the area - Edit
I stayed in Makati so I found this place to try something different to my other vegetarian choice nearby. It's a busy restaurant with lots of Grab orders, I wish I could order more food but they didn't take MasterCard so I was limited with my money
Read morePros: Popular with international customers, Great atmosphere and decorations
Cons: Starting to get a little expensive comparatively, No MasterCard payment, Need better English menu with pictures

Not really palatable - Edit
I’ve ordered from here three times and gave up. I enjoy food a lot, but all three times I was extremely disappointed and could not clean my plate (or my takeout containers), which is unlike me. It just didn’t taste good nor fresh.

Noisy as hell - Edit
Came here but couldn't even talk because it was so noisy. Popular hangout for the locals.

Vegan food in Manila? Yes! - Edit
I was looking for vegan food in Manila when I tripped upon 101 Hawker Food House. To be honest, I didn't care what kind of food it was as long as I could get vegan food. This large, well li restaurant is located in Makati and was easy to locate. I ordered the Kung Pao tofu and the set meal of bagoong rice with vegemeat, but they were out on the tofu dish. This was good as the bagoong rice platter was massive. I've traveled around the Philippines and haven't had many vegan dishes but for the occasional tokwat (tofu) dish. So to get a dish that was veganized was pretty amazing. Somehow they were able to make this traditional dish minus the shrimp paste. Its slightly sweet and yet savory taste had me going back for more. The green mango on top was the clincher for me. It was so good and affordable. I definitely recommend this place to any vegan looking for delicious food in Manila.

Crowded and dirty - Edit
I can't to say lie. Therefore the place is not good for eating 😒. It is dark place with dirty menu. Not good place even just for seating there. They have vegan options, but you will eat with people, who will drink some alcohol beverages at one time. I don't like such places. Better to eat some fast-food at the park or even on the street.

Vegan nasi goreng💓 - Edit
Better than the timpla of their nonvegan nasi goreng. Even the sauce of the seitan meat is delicious. Vegemeat rendang is good too.

1st visit - Edit
Ordered Vegan Nasi Goreng- Generous amount, a bit oily but tolerable and great tasting and I also like their special sauce.
Read moreFriendly staff and they will tell you if the food to be served is vegan or not. As I can see, the store people are all happy and get along well which is a really good thing when it comes to business.
I would definitely go back and try other dishes. :)
