Very nice place in downtown which is often crowded so it's strongly recommended to make a reservation in advance. The Swabian food is great especially the Kässpätzle. There are several vegan options in the menu.

Simply delightful

For all of us that get cravings for a hearty spatzle meal, this is your place. They have so many options for vegetarians and vegans that you won’t go out feeling like you just had to opt out in between a salad, pasta or pizza, which happens in most places. They have really gone far with their imagination to recreate meaty dishes and provide something that is cruelty free, delicious and nutritious. I’d give it a 5 starts if only the system would let me.

Vegan German food

It's always nice to try some local (veganized) dishes when visiting somewhere and this is a great place to try some German food! I was surprised to see that there were quite a few vegan options on the menu. I went for the cheese spätzle with smoked tofu and it was really tasty. Be sure to make a reservation if you want to go here. It's a quite small restaurant and it seems really popular.

delicious spaetzles, worth visitting

This little local restaurant offers a wide variety of vegan meals, almost everything can be processed into vegan-friendly. There are spaetzles with pesto, with cabbage, with vegan cheese and smoked tofu, one can choose whatever option he wants in vegan style. Side dishes are vegan as well. And last but not least, the stuff is very nice and helpfull, speaking fluently english. Perfect choice for local german food!

Pros: wide vegan choice, local german food, nice atmosphere

Cons: payment only in cash

Cute place with good spatzle variations

I've had the spatzle mit rucola, parmezan, cherry tomatoes and pine nuts. Everything was fresh and I got plenty of cheese and pine nuts. Those are expensive ingredients; I didn't expect to get so much of it on my plate. Great! My boyfriend had the vegan spatzle with sausage. He was very pleased with it. My not-near-vegan father in law was very pleased with his minced meat and kasespatzle. It's sometimes hard to find a place where we can have dinner as a family - not all of us are vegetarian.

Also cute place.

Pros: richly filled dishes, cute, tiny place

naja....
