Read moreDas sehr kleine Restaurant verfügt innen über nur wenige Sitzgelegenheiten und zwei Bierzelt-Garnituren außen vor dem Laden. Mehr wäre mit zwei Personen wohl auch kaum zu handhaben, zumal während wir dort waren mehrere Bestellungen von Lieferdienst-Boten abgeholt wurden. Die Auswahl der mexikanisch-orientierten Küche an Vor- und Hauptspeisen ist übersichtlich, aber ausreichend.
Wir haben uns als Vorspeise Nachos mit Salsa und dann einen Burrito mit Barbeque-Tofu und eine Enchillada mit Käsesauce bestellt. Leider bekamen wir statt nur Salsa eine Mischung verschiedener Saucen zu den Nachos. Da wir beide keine Guacamole mögen, war das suboptimal. Auch bei der Auswahl an Getränken mussten wir auf Mineralwasser verzichten, da das gerade nicht vorrätig war. Das Wetter schön und wir konnten an einem der beiden Tische draußen sitzen.
Die Hauptgerichte waren beide sehr lecker und sättigend. Etwas enttäuschend fanden wir, dass es als Beilage dann ebenfalls Nachos gab. Das stand so nicht auf der Tafel, wir hätten diese sonst auch nicht als Vorspeise ausgewählt, der auf der Tafel aufgeführte Salat war beim Gericht mit der Käsesauce nicht dabei.
Dennoch empfehlenswert, das Essen war gut gewürzt, pikant aber dabei nicht zu scharf, und die Bedienung sehr freundlich.
Vielleicht waren wir zu einem nicht ganz so glücklichen Zeitpunkt da, obwohl wir immer glücklich sind, ein rein veganes Restaurant zu finden, vergeben wir hier dann doch nur vier Sterne.

The restaurant is quite small, only some seats inside and two tables outside. Obviously the owner and only one waitress couldn’t serve more. The kitchen is Mexican style and there is only limited choice.
We chose Nachos with Salsa as a starter, but got a mixture of all dips. As we don’t like guacamole this was miserable. As maindishes we got a burrito with bbq-tofu and an enchilada with cheese. We liked it well. Unfortunately again the nachos as a side, what wasn’t remarked on the board. Otherwise we wouldn’t have had them as starter. The salad was absent. We couldn’t get some mineral water, they ran empty.
The dishes were well flavoured und the stuff friendly.
Due to the circumstances we rate this spot with only 4 stars, even though we are always lucky to find a fully vegan location.

I like this small mexican place. The burritos are very delicious and filled to the brim. The quesadilla is tasty as well.
Unfortunately there is only seating for around 6-7 people.
The presentation of the food wasn't appealing the second time. Only a bare burrito on a plate. No decor - no love. That could be improved.
UPDATE July 2021: shortly after my review, the dishes are now always lovingly prepared. I have been there several times and am thrilled every time because it is so delicious. ❤️
The owner is still very, very friendly! There is a small outdoor seating area now as well.

Best Burritos in town! - Edit
The place is lovely and perfectly themed. Everything is vegan and both were very friendly and nice. The Burrito is huge and the taste was amazing, all ingredients and flavors were well balanced and it was not to spicy. Also the cheese cake was delicious. If you want to sit inside you better call for a table, because the seating is limited.

Humongous take-away burrito - Edit
First day of the second lockdown in Germany and I feel so lucky about this place still offering food. Ordered the breakfast club burrito for take-away and it was humongous, topped with 4 different vegan sauces and a handful of nacho chips, almost too much and too good to be true for the 7,50 Eur that I paid. Even though the filling was a tad bit too salty and the scrambled tofu was more of a vegan mince, I still loved the burrito. I'm in a food coma but am still craving for more, how??

Best vegan burritos - Edit
I've planned to check out this place for a few months now, today it finally panned out. What can I say, my already high expectations were easily topped by what I got on my plate! I had enchiladas and it was the best vegan Mexican food I've ever had, perfectly seasoned, well balanced, just the right amount of spiciness, all in all just perfect flavors and textures. The small restaurant is easy to find nearby Bochum's main station and brings Mexican street food flair right into the heart of the Ruhr area - highly recommended!

Little burrito shop - Edit
This is a great place for lovers of more authentic burritos. Beans and sauces are great and taste just right, portion sizes are pretty decent . Prices are comparably inexpensive, starting at 4,50€ for a full blown burrito.

Ich freue mich über jeden neuen veganen laden. Aber auch alternative Läden dürfen sich ein bisschen mehr Mühe geben bei der Präsentation ihres Arbeitsbereichs. Ne olle Pfanne auf nem Campingherd kann es nicht sein, um anständiges Essen für DIESE Preise zuzubereiten.

Lovely place and great food - Edit
This place is great. Lovely small location and super tasty food. I tried the Tofu Ranchero Burrito and the Breakfast Club Burrito, both were great and very filling. Prices are more than fair. It's so great that everything is vegan!!
