Vegan pasta - Edit
Had a really good experience here, was offered a vegan menu when we came in without having to ask which was really good. Loads of choices on there including a vegan cheesecake!

Love the pizza, you can custom built it and they also have vegan cheeze which is is not bad at all.
Read moreThe only thing that's bothering me are the metal tables, they reflect the light is such a way that it makes me a bit dizzy. But maybe that's just me. They have wooden tables too which are fine.
The service was always very friendly too and it's reasonably quick.

Die vegane Karte und ist sehr hilfreich und erweckt den Eindruck, dass man sich hier um seine Kunden kümmert. Die Pizza und der Service waren insgesamt sehr gut. Es handelt sich hier jedoch um Massenabfertigung, sodass es weniger gemütlich ist. Dennoch ist der Laden sehr teuer.

Been here many times over the past year or so - the vegan zucca is a firm pizza favourite. Pizza Express are now giving them a run for their money these days but still a very nice meal :)

Nice place to go, very friendly staff. Food was really good, even though the portions were a wee bit small. But definitely one of the healthier places to go. Special vegan menu available and vegan mozzarella, which is real good.

Vegan menu plus I found a special who can be made vegan! Had a delicious pizza with vegan cheese and a fantastic vegan dessert as well. My non-vegetarian friends loved it, too! Works for everyone :)

Not easy to find, as it's in a close between the Royal Mile and Waverley. There are signs idicating where to give, but you have to look hard as they can easily be overlooked.
Read moreThis branch of Zizzi's is spacious and family-friendly and with modern decoration and furnishing, basically the same as all other Zizzi branches I have seen until now.
The vegan pizza is good, especially the rustica (different dough), but it always seems as if they are being stingy with the toppings (and the vegan cheese), which is really unnecessary in my opinion.
Service is good and waiting times usually aren't very long.
Apart from a bit more generous handling of the toppings, some changing dishes on the menu would be nice, as the few vegan ones can become boring rather quickly.

This is a great restaurant if you are with a mixed group. They had a pizza with vegan cheese and it tasted really good. You can eat a full menu here with starter, main and dessert. Their chocolate pie tastes really good. Their garlic bread is delicious. You can also eat gluten free here.

This place has a seperate vegan menu, including pizza with vegan cheese! The pizza is really good and you can choose all your toppings on your own.

The atmosphere is nice as well with an astonishing view over Edinburgh.

They have a separate menu for people with certain dietary wishes (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free). Many options for mains (pizzas and pastas!), starters and they even have multiple vegan ice creams as well as a cake for dessert.
Read moreWhen I ordered the cake I asked for caramelised pecans on top (one of the options) but got a cake without nuts and what seemed like caramel sauce so I asked the waiter about this and he went to ask the kitchen. It turned out there had been some miscommunication which is why I received (non-vegan) caramel sauce. The waiter offered to bring me a new cake but since the sauce was in a seperate jug it didn't even touch the cake, so there wasn't any problem, really. However, we didn't have to pay for the cake because of the mistake, and they even offered to bring another dessert on the house. Excellent service and amazing food.

I heard about Zizzi introducing vegan cheese on their pizza so was very excited to check it out. I had a regular margarita (obviously with the cheese switched) with olives and mushrooms. They don't charge extra for vegan cheese like some places do, so my pizza actually came to less than a tenner which was a nice surprise.
Read moreThe only vegan ice-cream-esque option on the dessert menu was strawberry sorbet, but their Christmas set menu had a "coconut-chocolate" flavour which they were happy to substitute. In general, our waiter was very accommodating and happy to help. Definitely adding this to my list of vegan-friendly faves.
