The dumplings are awesome!

Most of the dishes are good, but the dumplings in particular are amazing! The hybiscus tea they do is also worth having! Excellent tea!

Delicious food

Pay a visit to ZM and you won't regret it. The owner is a absolute peach and he'll talk you through each of the options. Big portions of tasty vegan food. Casual seating in the back of a local shopping arcade. The hot sauce is great and you can buy a bottle to take home. Make sure you get the dumpling on the side!

delicious food

I got a selection of all curries, rice and peas and dumplings for £8, and a slice of cake for dessert. Was beautifully spiced and tasted amazing.

Pros: tasty food

Cons: slightly pricey (but that's london)

Strikes me as a bit harsh to label this establishment as 'slightly pricey', after you got 'a selection of curries, rice and peas and dumplings for £8, and a slice of cake for dessert'. Sounds like very good value to me, outstanding price for London.
Well done Zionly Manna!

Amazing food

Great little restaurant inside Rye Lane market. The food was healthy and very tasty, perfect if you're in a rush as everything is cooked already. They have different options every day and also some delicious vegan cakes. Definitely recommend!

Pros: all vegan

Quality, love-infused food

Love this place! The lovely gentleman who owns and runs this place cooks practically all the food himself, on the day, and takes great pleasure in doing so. The day we were there, there were a couple of rices dishes, a pasta dish, and many curry/satay etc. vegie dishes plus dumplings. We had a bit of everything and it was all seriously delicious. The food is also crazily value for money! The vibe of respect and appreciation for good quality ingredients was obvious while we were chatting with the proprietor, who is hugely welcoming and happy to talk about the food and his plans for the cafe. Thank you for an excellent lunch!

Pros: All vegan, fresh, excellent value

Amazing

We stumbled upon this place whilst in Peckham. Someone mentioned below that it was hard to find. I couldn't agree with that. We found it without any bother. Just head to the rear of the market and its right in front of you.

It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The food is healthy, freshly prepared and most importantly tasty. The portions are generous and the prices modest. The chickpea dumplings are a thing of beauty. Very welcoming and personable staff too.

Pros: tasty, portions, healthy

Excellent

This is a great place in Peckham, 2 minutes away from Peckham Rye station, inside the indoor market.

The setting is low key, non-glam and informal. The vibe is friendly and laid back. The food is excellent. Portions are generous and it's great value - 5 pounds for a big plate of 3 buffet choices.

(Closed on Sundays, but that might change in the future)

Pros: Healthy and tasty food, Friendly and local vibe, Affordable and good value

Fantasticly Deliciously Zionly

Tucked away somewhat inexplicably in the Rye Lane indoor market is this flavour haven.

An excellent selection of delicious African, Caribbean and international hot food and salads. The range of freshly made unlabelled juices are also worth a look-in. The ginger and clove zinged the bejesus out of me.
Vegan choc cake also looks really rather good but I'm far too satisfied from the triple selection with rice and side salad.

Despite the basic setup behind the shoe stalls and aquatic garden supplies, this operation delivers a warm, inviting and soul-refreshing experience.

Good food

Finding the cafe is a bit of a struggle. Basically you need to go straight to the back of Rye Lane indoor market and look for a group of round wooden tables. There was a large selection of food and bottles juices and smoothies as well as chocolate cake, cupcakes and vanilla ice cream to accompany the latter. We had some of everything and it was all tasty and well-made. Pilau rice, vermicelli, a spicy callalloo, fried plantains, chickpea dumplings and several mixed veg ital stews. The cupcake was very chocolatey and moist with icing just the right amount of sweetness for me. Will definitely go again.

Currently they are open 12-6 Monday to Saturday but plan to extend the hours.

Pros: Range on offer, tasty , chocolate cake

Cons: Slow service , A bit disorganised , Hard to find at first
