A_mazing - Edit
This place is really popular, and for a good reason. Even if you might not get the table with the best view without a reservation, the selection of cruelty-free meals at Zest is just overwhelming and yes - the food is worth the good reputation.

Amazing vegan retaurant - Edit
This place had the most amazing views through an open window. The atmosphere was very relaxed and the staff were friendly and offered great service. There was plenty of choice on the menu and the food was delicious. They also have an interesting cocktail menu.

One of the coolest spots in ubud! - Edit
We visited zest twice in a week while staying in ubud. They have a huge menu with a variety of different food and drinks. They do a set breakfast/brunch menu for pre 11.00 am for 100 idr which comes with a coffee / hot chocolate (one of the best hot chocolates I've ever had) plus a fresh shot and a plate of food with 2 dishes one. Their crushed new potatoes are to die for aswell.
Read moreThe restaurant itself is super comfy and has a great relaxed vibe. They have sofas made of hemp all over the place and massive open windows that look over the jungle. A great place to have a few coffees and enjoy a good book on their sofas.
Prices are not cheap, but for the quality of food and the over all atmosphere here, it's well worth the money.
Also, the staff were always very friendly.
Will definitely be coming back next time we're in Ubud.
Pros: Great food, Adorable set menu for breakfast before 11, Great seating, views and over all atmosphere

Favourite place in Ubud! - Edit
Hands down our favourite place in Ubud. We ate here a lot! The pizza with the cashew cheese is a must try - that texture is so cheese like and it’s so delicious! We also had amazing pancakes for breakfast and the kebab shop wrap also went down a treat with the sweet potato wedges. All delicious. All healthy. All fully gluten free. Our only complain was that they had no jackfruit whenever we visited and the brownie in a glass was always sold out! So get there early!

Favourite Ubud Restaurant! - Edit
Of all the vegan places I visited in Bali Zest was by far my favourite! The menu is innovative and the food is always of the highest quality. But it’s not just the food that kept me coming back, the atmosphere is truly lovely. Comfy couches and small nooks to squeeze into and enjoy the amazing view from up on the ridge where the restaurant is located. And let’s not forget the staff are so friendly and helpful. From beginning to end the dinning experience at Zest is wonderful!

The best - Edit
One of the best vegan dining experiences. The food was really wonderful, everything we had was amazing. From the starters through to the dessert, everything was a joy. We ordered a lot of different things to share and everything was such a high standard of freshness and excellent ingredients. The love could literally be felt in this beautiful food. So great as I went with 3 non vegans who said it was their favourite restaurant and eating experience in Bali 💚

Zest is a place to visit 😍 - Edit
great food, decoration, events, people,.. its an experience❤😍 just one advice, maybe keep the volume of the music a bit lower, many people say its the best place but cant really talk at ease because music is a bit loud.

Beautiful ambience, beautiful food - Edit
I’ve been to Zest twice for weekly girls meetups and really love the vibe and food. Being vegan it makes me really happy to go to entirely plant-based places because I can eat anything on the menu. There’s so many gluten/wheat-free options too! (Is it all gluten-free?) I find the food really creative and delicious. I don’t like to eat oil and nothing tasted too oily to me.
Read moreI’ve had the Bangkok Bang bowl, cucumber mint salad/dip, pancake stack and the cacao ceremony hot chocolate. The pancakes are almost a meal in themselves so come hungry!
Pros: All vegan / plant-based so you can eat everything, Very creative and beautiful food, Lovely, magical setting
Cons: Can get a little loud inside, Drinks are a little expensive compared to food

Hipster central - Edit
Menu is extensive but I struggled to find a wide variety of protein or whole grain plant options. The food I did eat was really delicious but it was essentially a large salad with a side of fermented cabbage. The juice I had was really delicious too.
Read moreBeing a cool hipster place the price reflects that but you do get what you pay for.
For a raw gourmet experience I’d choose MOKSA before returning to Zest.

Delicious healthy and filling - Edit
Tried one of the wok bowls (Bali blast) labelled as being ‘for people who want salad but want to eat more than a salad’ (or something similar to that) and it was totally right. Tasty, healthy and so filling I couldn’t finish it all!

Wow! - Edit
This place is incredible! Blows all other higher end vegan eateries away. The food is filling, delicious and nourishing and the staff are really friendly. The menu is a little pretentious in its layout but extensive and very accurately descriptive of the food and it’s flavours. Go here if you want a real experience.

Wonderful menu, hard to choose from. Went for the 'Awakened Cowboy', which was fantastic. Had a hot chocolate to follow, sadly didn't have room for dessert. Was by myself but didn't feel out of place eating at the bar. Sad I won't have time this trip to go back, would defo recommend. It was my favourite meal in Ubud.

Go to Zest if you want to rediscover yourself à la Julia Roberts in Eat Pray Love. The food is high quality, the ambience is delightful, and the service is friendly. The jackfruit pizza has amazing melty cashew parmesan, and the tapas menu was addictive.
