Ich hab die veganen Pancakes bestellt, die sehr lecker angerichtet waren, jedoch leider für mich nur wenig mit Pancakes zu tun hatten... Sie waren wie frittiert und ziemlich trocken. Mit dem Obst zusammen hat es aber lecker geschmeckt. Mein Freund hatte das shashuka, welches ihm sehr gut geschmeckt hat.

For a long time vegetarian or vegan restaurants in Porto were quite rare, but luckily things have changed over the years! Zenith was one of the first vegetarian/vegan restaurants I tried in Porto as soon as I got the chance. The interior is very stylish and it has kind of a hip vibe. It was loud and frantic inside, which wasn’t quite relaxing for me. The presentation of the food was beautiful and also the flavors were good, but due to the busy atmosphere I couldn’t fully enjoy it. It was also a bit pricey unfortunately. Overall the experience was good, but I think there’s some room for improvement regarding the food, atmosphere, service, serving sizes and prices.

Small pancakes - Edit
Because the donut store nearby was closed we wanted to eat something sweet here. The pancakes here are nothing special except they looked nice for a picture. If you are craving for sweet okay, but no place were you must go.

I had the vegan pancake, and it was alright. The fruit was fresh and good, however I couldn’t feel it was a “real” pancake, as I had some vegan pancakes before and it tasted almost like the egg ones. The pancake tasted like a sponge cake, which disappointed me a bit. The peanut butter and warm banana combination was fabulous though.

They have several options for vegans.
I tried the Vegan Shakshuka. Too many spices for me. I also stole a bite from my wife's Veggie Bagel and Brazilian Açai and were both delicious.
I will definetly go back next time I visit Porto. Lovely city by the way.

This is definitely one of the best breakfast spots I’ve ever been to! The vegan toast was amazing and everything you could ask for. I loved the urban atmosphere even though the music was a little too loud for a cozy breakfast spot it was hard to keep up a conversation. The staff is really warm and welcoming though. I will definitely come back!

We really wish we could give 5 stars in this case, because even though the restaurant does offer a few meat dishes, the selection of vegetarian and vegan options is overwhelming.
Read moreThe food and drinks are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend their granola, which can be served with vegan yogurt. Service is also great and fast.
Even though the restaurant is quite large with a lot of seating inside and outside, it does get fairly busy and you might need to wait in line to get a table. Don’t get discouraged though, the line goes quite fast (10 minutes in our case).
