Excellent Steak and Ayle Pie - Edit
Surprisingly good Steak and Ayle pie. Combined with mash potato, minty peas and gravy. Mash was very nice too and tasty gravy. Must try for Vegan and non Vegans. Reasonably priced too. Only takes card no cash.

I love the Young Vegans - they offer great vegan food, and I think it’s the only permanent vegan pie shop in London. I’ve tried their steak & ale and katsu chicken pie and they are both AMAZING. They do desserts as well and money wise it’s very affordable (£8 for pie fries/mash, or £9 pie 2 sides); the portion is definitely enough as well; the staff are very friendly and laid back. I don’t know if it’s a usual thing but when I came in today it was “card only” transactions, so be prepared for that. The food is served really quick as well, I think I’ve only been waiting for like 5 minutes, also they’re open till later comparing to other vegan places in Camden (they shut at 9pm most of the days).

We really enjoyed our meal here. We tried the steak + ale and chicken parmigiana pies along with the mash, gravy, macaroni cheese and cheesy chips. All was fantastic and pretty much perfect. Great food at a great price.

I was so looking forward to eating here and it didn’t disappoint! I had the steak and ale pie which was amazing! The gravy was amazing! The “bacon” bits were amazing! I tried a bit of my husbands all day breakfast pie and that was amazing too. Will definitely be heading back next time I’m in London.

These pies were so delicious, seriously one of the best foods I ever ate. I came back twice and had the chicken parmigiana pie (my favourite) and the steak and ale pie, along with peas, fries and cheese sauce and the most amazing mac n cheese. The gravy was perfect as well. Absolutely loved it, this place is a must when you’re in London.

This place is great - they achieve absolute magic with their pie inventions. The staff have always been absolutely lovely as well. Take your (bargain) pie meal to go and go sit by the canal side for a proper London experience.

We had to try this place which offered those traditional English pies. We went for the Ale one with cheese fries + mac'n'cheese as sides.
Read moreWow, it was so good! The gravy for the pie was very rich and tasty! The cheese sauce for the fries was delicious as well.
We also tried the homemade iced tea and it was very good, not too sweet, perfect.
Can't wait to go back and taste the other pies!
Plus, prices are very attractive, 10£ for a pie + 2 sides + 1 drink!!

The best food in London. I swear. Chicken parmigiana and katsu curry pies are life. Never forget to get them with mash and gravy. The mac&cheese side is so yummy, I want to eat it everyday. The desserts are also the bomb. (esp. peanut brownie!) I can't say a bad thing about this place! Much love, can't wait to visit again.

Had a pie there. It tasted really nice, but as I've never had a traditional pie (with meat) I can't comment on how close it is to the 'original'. I got my order real quick.
Read moreThe pie itself was a bit messy to eat with the provided utensils (bamboo fork), and even though I really appreciate the environmental thought, be prepared for more efforts than usual.
Cute place, but food is more on the unhealthy side (fast food), which doesn't really want me to eat there too often.

Popped in to have a hot drink and a desert. Chose the peanut butter mud pie which was quite sweet but delicious and rich. Will definitely call again and try the pies and Mac’n’cheese.
