Comforting and tasty - Edit
Had a number of vegan pies to make at home and since lockdown started. They do delivery or order and collect. I don’t think I’ve settled on a favourite yet but I really liked the famous vegetable and cheeseburger pie. Their gluten-free Aussie pie with soya mince in gravy is nice too. Hope they will be some more gf options coming.

The best pies I've had, hands down...... - Edit
Whilst living in London I visited this place a number of times and each time the pie and mash (and mushy peas, and bacon bits, and gravy...and....!!) was really good. Tried the 'steak' and ale pie, and the Katsu 'chicken' pie, both were winners, but if I had to choose the winner of the winners then this would have to be the 'steak' and ale one, it is so good.!!
Read more.....and the really good thing is that you can actually order the pies (or a selection of them, 6 is the minimum order) for delivery to your home address for (cooking and) consumption at your leisure. Since moving away from London recently I've used this service, and (much to my surprise...) the pies were equally as good, I promise you 'Young Vegans' I will be using this service again (and really quite soon as all 6 pies seem to disappear quite quickly, with help of housemates!!)
Pros: Really really good pies!, Home delivery
Cons: Small venue

Best dessert (mud pie) ever - Edit
Visited here a few times and their pies are fantastic. Really nice gravy and mash potato on the pie. Also one of the best (if not the best) vegan mac and cheese I've had (love the "bacon" bits they add on top). But the best thing they sell here? The mud pie. Oh my God. Incredible. Its so good that every time I'm in Camden (which isn't that often) I ALWAYS buy about 5 or 6 mud pies and deliver them to friends and family. The mud pies might just be the best dessert I've ever had

The best mudpies ever - Edit
Once you've had a MUDPIE here you will literally want to come back for more. My boyfriend and I often visit Camden just for these pies. They are incredible. I must also add their other pies are just as delicious - they are a truly talented bunch! Last visited a few months ago but can't wait to go back when possible!

Cute pies that mean business - Edit
At first I didn't think the pie would fill me up but daggnabbit, I didn't have any room for dessert. The mac and cheese probably didn't help.

Worth a visit - Edit
If you happen to be near Camden you should try this place’s food. It was my first time trying the pie and mash and I absolutely loved it. I went for the seitan and ale, which I strongly recommend. The side of mash is a must. The gravy was very tasty too. I also tried the cheesburger one but I would still go for the seitan and ale. The two girls behind the counter were lovely too!

I am a big pie boy - Edit
I've been on a pie kick for about a year now (I make them at home roughly once a week) and I have to say, this was an excellent pie. I had a seitan and ale pie with mash and gravy and it was spot on. It was costly for its size at £8 but that's the sort of price you pay in London.
Read moreIf you're visiting from abroad, I'd recommend pie & mash as it's authentic English fare. I went with two lads I'd met in the hostel that afternoon, one Austrian, one Korean, and they said it was a nice little experience.
Pros: In amongst lots of pubs, shops, etc.

Nice vegan pie, but nothing special - Edit
I had the Cheeseburger pie and it was tasty, however there were only 4 pie options available - based on other reviews on HC I was expecting there to be a lot more choice.
Read moreThe £9 deal for a pie and two sides I felt was quite overpriced because the size of the sides were very small - particularly the mac & cheese. However it did all taste very nice.
I’m not sure I would come back here based on the fact that the pie didn’t blow me away and I felt it was expensive for what you got. There is a very limited amount of space to eat in there, so it is basically a takeaway pie shop so I don’t think their prices match this.
It was nice to see that there are options to take the pies away to cook at home and they have some dessert options as well.
Pros: All vegan , Nicely presented food
Cons: Pricey, Very limited seating

Fabulous pies! - Edit
After following them on Facebook for ages and drooling over their pies, it was time to sample one! The choice was steak and ale, chicken parmigiana, cheeseburger pie or katsu curry pie. I had steak and ale, with cheese fries. ThI meal deal with a drink was excellent value at £9. The pie was out of this world and would easily fool a meat eater! I have docked a star off because I feel that the cheese sauce and the gravy were both pretty mean portions and I was given a fork but there were no knives! Eating a crusty pie with no knife was pretty difficult. Fabulous food though!

The best pies - Edit
This place has the best tasting pies we’ve ever had. We tried 3 different kinds and liked them all. The seitan and ale pie was our favorite. Their gravy is also really good. I’ve never liked gravy, but this place changed my mind. Very much recommended!

A must-try! - Edit
You NEED to go here if you’re a vegan visiting London! Various vegan pies to try, perfect if you’re looking for British / comfort food classics. The portion sizes are great - not too heavy and filling so you’ve got room for dessert afterwards. Even if you’re with people who aren’t vegan, they’ll love it for sure.

Vegan pies with mac n cheese - Edit
I have heard of Young Vegans a lot but didn't really know it was a pie shop until recently.
Read moreWhen I found out that they served Vegan pie and mash decided to give it a visit.
The shop is easily missed because it is right at the back but the good thing is that they have a few seats inside and there are tables outside.
Seitan and ale or the Aussie vegan mince pies were my main choices because pies with gravy are usually beef.
According to their insta, the steak is seitan while the Aussie vegan uses mince.
Unfortunately when it was my turn to order, both the labels for these pies were turned over so I thought they would not refill them so I ordered the Cheeseburger instead.
Other pies that were available were the Chick'n Katsu, Chick'n parmigiana and the Sweet and sour chick'n.
When I got my pie, it was satisfying to see it drizzled with gravy and topped crisp onions.
Instead of mash, I had mac and cheese.
Although it was not the pie of my choice, the cheeseburger was actually delicious because of the flavours like gherkin and cheese inside but the seitan beef patty let it down a bit because the texture was rather rubbery as it was all compacted into one patty.
The vegan mac and cheese was quite comforting in the sense that it was creamy and cheesy yet light.
It was good that they serve tea but it wasn't very full.
After I finished my pie, decided to go in and look at the menu again but to my surprise the pies were refilled so I was a bit gutted that they didn't tell people they were going to be refilled.
Saying that the cheeseburger pie wasn't bad so I didn't make a wrong choice.
To summarize, I would definitely recommend their pies and the flavours really blend in nicely as they have taken popular pub favourites like sweet and sour and put it in a pie.
