What an experience!
Read moreThe restaurant is well decorated and the staff is really friendly (and they all have such a great style!)
And the sushi, what can I say? It was incredibly good!
The atypical thing about this restaurant is you can choose for example 1 menu but you dont know exactely what will arrive! And... only such good surprises! Even me who normally dont like avocado, i loved the one with!
The only thing is sometime the pieces are a too big for me so I cannot ate them in one bite unfortunalety (so I was really ashamed haha!)
I highly recommended this place!
Pros: amazing food

I’ve been to Youmiko several times. Sometimes it’s just amazing and sometimes it’s just passable. It’s such a pity because someone there has an absolutely fantastic potential, but now I hesitate going there because I don’t want more disappointments.

BEST Japanese food ever!! - Edit
My fav food is sushi, so this is a big statement for me. Also the fact that I have tried vegan japaneses restaurants in cities like London, New York, San Fran and LA. But none compares to the traditional and special sushi from Youmiko. My ultimate favourite is their speciality, the "cake" made of my 2 fav veggies, caramelised aubergine and avocado. Their other nigiri and gunkan sushi are simple (tradicional) but utterly delicious. I LOVE the fact they only use vegetables (not tofu or other mock meats). Their tomato temari also deserves a mention, as well as their chocolate mousse with tapioca and mango. Their maki rolls are a bit boring but the freshness and quality of everything they do is outstanding. I will go back to Warsaw just to eat here again. Definitely worth the trip.

Brilliant Crème brûlée - Edit
Admittedly, all I had was the crème brûlée, and it was great. The place is fairly expensive, with sushi tasting plates clocking in at 70-100 PLN, and has a posh vibe.

BEST! - Edit
this might be the best vegan sushi i've ever eaten (and i've been to japan and taiwan where sushi is delicious!)
Read morei LOVE the creativity! sushi filled with tempura!? oh wow! i also really liked the sweet desert-versions (i had kiwi) - perfect ending!
true, it takes a while to get all the sushi you order. but sushi is supposed to be eaten fresh, so i can live with that. also, i've sometimes kept sushi until the next one arrived and then ate them mixed up.
my boyfriend and i spent about 25 euro which is quite a lot for warsaw, but we were more than full and left satisfied. and after all, it's sushi - and hardly anywhere in europe is that cheap.
the service was very helpful, friendly and well trained! i love how they presented the food!
Pros: variety & taste, atmosphere & service, taste taste taste

A great sushi experience in Warsaw - Edit
With an enormous amount of goodies on the menu, I liked how they focus on offering sets: as you naturally just want to try as much as possible in this place. The sushi was perfect. The combination of ingredients, the quality of preparation, the way of serving, the taste: I was very pleased with it all. The place is great, even if a bit pricey (as you expect from any sushi place in Poland anyway), with the only little disadvantage probably being the service... the waiters were helpful, just made an impression of being somewhat under-qualified for the place. I highly recommend this place though.

A Fantastic Experiemce - Edit
You love the food and experience eating at this restaurant. Every bite was fantastic, and the service is very attentive. I cannot suggest you order any particular vegan sushi item at this restaurant, as all of the items are equally great. I can recommend you order the lemonade with tarragon and the mango tapioca chocolate cake.

Seriously innovative - Edit
I found this on happycow and was impressed with the food here, especially the variety of ingredients. The staff however is too serious about making the meal feel special, and for me that came across as a bit overly theme oriented. Price is not cheap by Warsaw standards, but it's reasonable for what you are getting, a fine "date restaurant" and also a good place to bring your seafood eating friends to try vegan sushi.

good sushi - Edit
For a takeaway I had to wait 30min the first time. The food was good but I order a mix plate for 2 for myself, which makes it expensive. Otherwise it wouldn't have been enough. The second time i was unable to order the takeaway. When I arrived and asked for a takeaway, the waitress told me to choose from the menu. The owner just said no, that they were too busy to take any more orders.

Almost mystical experience - Edit
I have eaten at many great vegan restaurants in my life, but 3 people varied set at Youmiko Sushi is an absolute apex of my culinary experiences. I have felt like I was eating works of art, and the whole experience was almost mystical. Courses of magical Japanese fusion creations were presented to us one by one by polite and knowledgable staff, the ambience is pleasantly minimalistic, the tastes - heavenly. Total foodgasm. We left the place feeling satisfied and happy with our lives.

Good food, but quite expensive - Edit
I have visited this place twice. Sushi is amazing with different fillings and a lot of interesting things inside. But I have to mention it is pretty time-consuming, because you wait for every two pieces, so you should have at least two hours.

vegan sushi - Edit
I recognise Youmiko from their restaurant im Cracow so when I heard they were opening a vegan-only place in Warsaw I knew I had to visit it. You can order the sushi to either eat in or take away; we chose the latter options. The waiting time was less than 20 minutes. We chose a set with different kinds of pieces, with fillings including tenpura (fried veggies). It tasted pretty good, the sushi was definitely on the 'modern' side, kind of reminding me of fusion kitchen. The prices were quite high though and I'm not convinced yet it was quite worth it. In overall I'd say I'm glad there's more vegan-only Asian cuisine restaurants in Poland.

Best sushi in Warsaw... - Edit
Best sushi in Warsaw, not only for vegans! Exceptional flavors and delicious miso soup with a hint of lemon flavor - the best I've tasted in my life. They even have tamari sauce, which made me very happy, since I am gluten-free.. It's very pleasant to look at the contemplation of the sushi Masters while they create their artful dishes, a very cool vibe overall. I'm waiting eagerly for brown rice. Prices adequate to the quality of food.
