Zamówiłem spory zestaw w ciemno i się nie zawiodłem. Bardzo różnorodne i intensywne smaki, czyli wszystko to czego oczekujesz od sushi, a tutaj bez zbędnego cierpienia zwierząt. Polecam!

I had an amazingly tasty dinner here with my non vegan dad. We tried two plates of 14 pieces and we got to taste so many interesting flavor combinations. We both loved the tempura sushi with oyster mushrooms. Also the ‘salmon’ and ‘tuna’ nigiri were super inventive. The portions were beautifully prepared and well thought through. Not a very cozy place to sit and have dinner but we had a great time anyways. Service was lovely and they spoke English. I would totally recommend this place for some mind blowing sushi experience.

Great food, friendly atmosphere - Edit
I visited the place in September, when was visiting my parents. I was very excited to finally find vegan sushi place in Poland and in my neighborhood. I had a lovely chat with very friendly owners, so my otherwise lonely meal become social meeting, which was added bonus. I don't ever remember what I had, but I had a lot, including dessert and I liked every dish. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back when waiting Katowice and bringing my friends with me.

While Katowice has a very poor scene of vegan restaurants, Yami Sushi is definitely a massive stride in the right direction. The restaurant is always extremely reliable, often taking rather big, last-minute orders and never failing to have them ready on time. The sushi is delicious! Best for takeaway so far, the venue itself is pretty small and it's not a fit for a larger group. However, it is definitely a cosy place to eat out for two. I hope they will be able to move to a larger venue soon and hire more people. 11/10 recommend, have ordered there so many times and they have only opened rather recently.

Really "WOW" sushi experience - Edit
I wasn't expecting so much flavor and such a great service. I was visiting the place during weekend and there was long waiting time expected however I was offered two preprepared sushi sets and I loved this idea. We saved time and the sets were prepared just 20 minutes earlier.
Read moreI am still impressed by the delicious and full taste of vegan sushi. I hadn't experienced it since I dropped fish. Amazing composition. No doubt that I will come back next time while visiting Katowice.

As far as I know this is the first fully vegan sushi place in Katowice and it's delicious! Definitely be back to try try one of the bento boxes next Sunday.😄Pro tip: better call ahead and order your food - they make everything fresh so it can take a while, especially on weekends. Worth the wait tho!
