Adequate food, excellent margaritas - Edit
Was surprised the food got such rave reviews! The guacamole was very watery. We ordered the tinga and the pastor—pastor was not very flavorful and the tinga was good but not amazing. The margaritas (especially the watermelon one) were awesome.

Vegan Quesadilla with great flavor - Edit
Visiting from the US to PR for the first time and I’m so glad I came across this gem. The soy based chicken w/ pineapples was amazing - bursting with flavor. The quesadillas were a great size stuffed - the level of crunchiness was beyond what I imagined. I so recommend this place!

The vegan pastor quesadilla was delicious. I never had vegan pastor before, and they did a great job. It was a lot of food, and they stuffed it well. The staff was friendly, and the decor is pretty cool.

I literally just screamed at the sight (of the picture) with the VEGAN drawing on this NON-VEGAN place. They had a sign that said "Vegan Friendly" which was what prompted me to go in & ask what their options were so i could add the listing to HC. I love when non-vegan places do this, make it visual that they have vegan options. 🙌🏽🥰💪🏽😎🌱

Tasty! They were out of the vegan pastor so I got the quesadilla with beans and nopales (I might’ve requested both be added because it turned out none of the vegan menu items had beans). Came with some pico de gallo, guac and different salsas.

A great place to get some vegan food. They are a vegano menu with quesadillas and tacos. They have a watermelon torta on their menu but they've removed it. Our server was very aware of what's vegan or what could be made vegan (like the guacamole with vegan cheese).

The food here was ok, not spectacular. The guacamole comes with cheese on top so be mindful of that. It was a bit watery and didn’t taste fresh. I got the quesadilla with mushrooms and it had a lot of vegan cheese on it. Would have been better with some vegan sour cream. Margaritas were excellent. Service was very slow. I got my food first and finished before everyone in my party of 4 had even received their food. Waiter was very friendly.

Had the pastor quesadilla and it was delicious! The “meat” was really flavorful and well seasoned, didn’t feel like an afterthought. They had tasty margaritas too!! As others have mentioned the salsa is not vegan due to chicken broth, but the guac (spec no cheese) was great. Server seemed knowledgeable about the vegan options

We got the vegan quesadilla (ask no sour cream), mushroom tacos, and chips and guacamole (ask for vegan cheese on top). They do not skimp on the innards! Quesadilla was thicc haha, and tacos overflowing. Our serves, Louis, was knowledgeable. Enjoyed our dinner here!

Great small vegan menu - Edit
We're a vegan family (with two children 6 and 9) who have struggled to find good vegan spots in San Juan, I was walking by this restaurant on a busy section of Ashford and saw the little green 'vegan menu' portion on the sandwich board menu on the street. Everything on it was good and the server (a nice woman whose name escaped me) was excellent.

We sat outside in the courtyard on 2 different occasions. We had vegan tacos and nachos. The nachos were a huge portion and very filling so we ate those alone. The vegan pastor taco was a little sweet for my tastes, but still good. The tinga taco had a nice heat to it. Spicy margarita was delicious as well. Will definitely eat here again!

we got the vegan pastor, watermelon tostadas, and mushroom tacos. they were all amazing. watermelon tostadas were very unique, it is not fresh watermelon but a marinated, almost tasting like ceviche. I loved the pastor, but if you don't like cilantro you may not like it. It was marinated and had a really nice cilantro flavor, with pineapple bits. mushroom tacos had really intense flavor, much more so than the pastor. it was very good, I probably wouldn't have more than one or two personally.

Both were really delicious. Kitchen service was a little slow, but you could tell they took pride in their food and it was made to order not pre-made.
Definitely come and check it out for sure. Highly recommend.

I would give this restaurant 5 stars if I could! I can only give 4 because they’re not fully vegan. I got the vegan tinga tacos and the vegan quesadilla. Both were so flavorful and filling.

Mi review es más por el ambiente y la conversación con las personas que trabajan aquí. Yo le hablé de que existe esta aplicación para encontrar restaurantes veganos o restaurantes no-veganos con opción vegana. Me atendieron chévere ya que les ayudé a ser la persona que añada su restaurante en Happy Cow, así les ayuda a atraer más gente Vegan o personas que quieran probar opciones veganas.

• También tienen taco*🌮 de carne de soya al pastor, rico🤤 pero te deja con ganas😩 ya que el tamaño es *pequeño.
Taco* de seta/mushroom taco aunque no fui yo que lo probé, pero papi (él es PlantBased) me dice que está bueno.
Con (adicional): su precio está más alto de la porción que sirven

Yeah, that was my initial thoughts review when i first added this listing and it was before trying the food, so i put 2⭐️ which says "needs improvement" which they do in portion size & its price is on the expensive side & need to have more vegan options, since there arent that many, like 3.
