Great vegan food truck - Edit
The best vegan food truck in Melbourne, probably the world. Have had numerous meals from them at Big Vegan Markets and Vegan Vegout Southside. Always busy with queues showing how popular they are, get in fast before they sell out.
Read moreFood is always delicious, great creative options with many often being gluten free.
Have had the Eggy roll, both the bacon and mushroom versions, Banh Mi loaded fries and there burgers. The Lemon Chicken Fusion Burger at the recent Big Vegan Market was just amazing.
I look forward to trying many other Woking Amazing meals at markets/festivals in the future.

Pros: So many delicious creative options to choose from, The limited edition Lemon chicken burger amazing!, Friendly owners who are at so many events
Cons: None

Thanks for the reviews 😃 we do have more gf options on the menu normally. The weekend event was very busy and we had a reduced menu to keep up with demand. We also knew there were plenty of gf options as the event.

Good burger and chips - Edit
Enjoyed a chikn style burger, which was maybe a touch too saucy, but otherwise pretty good along with some chippies at the Vegan Vegout southside.

Popular for good reason - Edit
Vendor at the Vegan Vegout Southside, something that they publicise, and may have a lot to do with/organise? Definitely something that local vegans should check out (and/or the Northside variant). Check @theveganvegout, or @wokingamazing on instaspam for details.
Read moreWe had the Spicy Chik'n burger, as well as chips. While the burger was over sauced (lots of sauce on both sides of the patty), it was still very good. I do appreciate a burger with the lot (variety of salad), but they are not common these days, and probably less suited to food trucks, than to brick & mortar establishments. I am very thankful that this burger did not come with one of those horrid coloured buns that took over most eateries a few years ago.
Pros: Vegan, Southside, Tasty

I ❤️ Woking Amazing - Edit
My favourite weekend food. Really enjoyed their Bahn Mi Loaded Fries, Tempura Mushroom, Eggy Rolls, Tempura Squid and burgers. Plus Kat and Mike are the loveliest people! I feel really fortunate to get to know them and being blessed with their tasty food. Mike has inspired me to learn Mandarin and his passion for veganism always shines through. Kat always has some wise advice for our small business.

The best! - Edit
Just realised I have eaten here a ton of times and not reviewed it. Everything about Woking Amazing is the absolute best. I’ve tried most things (except the spicy stuff, not my thing) and I love it all.
Read moreAlways excellent service and the only possible downside is that they sometimes end up sold out of what you had your heart set on because it’s so good! So get in early if you can.
Pros: Best food, Great service

Woking amazing were at a music event I went to yesterday. I wanted to try the mushroom burger but they'd sold out so I opted for the Bahn mi loaded fries and wasn't disappointed... Pretty delicious with a spicy sauce and various chopped veggies. Recommended!

Bayside visit - Edit
I was excited to learn that Woking Amazing was finally visiting bayside Melbourne. It was at Mordialloc Urban Ground. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but we still braved the weather and sat outside with our pooch under cover. I was finally able to try the Peking duck pancake and the eggy roll. The duck was delicious. I like the eggy roll but the fake bacon was a little too salty for me. Next time I would try it with the mushroom alternative. Either way it was great. Look forward to next time.

F☆♡☆♡NG AMAZING! - Edit
After being on my 'must try' list for a while I heard the sad news that Woking amazing was moving from it's permanent home at Welcome to Thornbury and I pushed myself to take the 1 hour trip and finally give it a try. This was a life changing decision. I've been 3 times in the last month!! I took my non vegan hubby on my 2nd visit and he agreed that it was by far the absolute best vegan food around. On my 3rd visit hubby came along but had a cheesesteak from a different food truck but after tucking into his meal turned to me with a sad face and said he wished he'd had something from Woking 😥
Read moreWe've had the chicken burger, fish burger, Peking duck pancake and garlic potato cakes and loved every bite.
I know I won't make the long drive to visit the venue once the food trucks are gone but I will definitely follow Woking Amazing to the end of the earth for another delicious meal.
♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
Pros: Delicious filling original vegan junk food ♡

Always something good to eat - Edit
I've been patronising Woking Amazing for yearrsss now, from when they were a food truck at various festivals and events, to when they had their own shop in Smith St, to their current spot at Thornbury food truck (which is only for another couple of weeks until they go on the road as a food truck again).
Read moreThere is always something I want to eat or try on their menu, which always has a few staples that don't change (Peking duck wrap), to new things they try out.
Recently tried the banh mi loaded fries (which was SOO GOOD, lots of coriander and fried shallots, tasted so much like a banh mi), garlic butter scallion pancakes (so nice and crispy, and HEAPS of garlic this time), and the Omni fishless burger (had an amazing texture, like the Gardein brand, but not as good taste, although there are flecks of seaweed throughout and my partner thought it tasted really fishy, served with an amaaazzing tartare sauce).
For dessert we got churros, which were nice and crispy, I would have liked some icing sugar (rather than cinnamon) on them though.
In the past I have tried and LOVED the chicken caesar wrap, zinger chicken wrap, beef wrap, and peking duck wrap. The only wrap I haven't loved is the bacon and egg wrap, which was verryyy salty, although the egg has a nice realistic texture.
Their other misses would be the dim sims and dumplings (both bland).
Pros: nearly all the wraps are delicious, loaded fries, friendly service

Wok Me! - Edit
Damn nice deep fried factory vegan textured tvp burger with a delicious creamy garlic sauce fresh iceburg lettuce and a tomato. $15.5 is a moronic price for a fast food burger anywhere but Australia ir maybe Zeurich, but at least it's going for a good cause and is a woman owned vegan business, clap clap!

AMAZING - Edit
I definitely agree with their name, Woking Amazing really is amazing.
Read moreI first tried their food at World Vegan Day where I just had their popcorn chick'n with BBQ sauce which was DELISHHHHHH and I got a voucher for free fries which I thought was a nice touch.
I then headed to Welcome to Thornbury for one of their Vegan Vegout events a couple months later and was definitely not disappointed. I had the duck pancake, BBQ pork bao and fries with sweet chilli sauce and it was all delicious.
Everything is vegan, the staff are friendly (even when completely swamped with huge queues at World Vegan Day which they handled SO WELL and the wait time was still very reasonable) and there's honestly nothing negative I could possibly say!!
Pros: Tasty food, All vegan, Lovely staff

My favourite burger in Melbourne - Edit
In my opinion, they have the best vegan burger in Melbourne. I can’t even put into words how incredible it is. Great value too. My partner and I live no where near Thornbury but we drive there when the craving gets too much just for this burger. You have to try it!! We’ve had the ‘duck’ pancake too, and the bao. Both soo delicious. And the chips!!! The seasoning is just .. wow.

If you want to know where to eat this delicious food go to Welcome to Thornbury, they have their own restaurant too and are sometimes at Welcome to Brunswick. They’re also at a lot of festivals, best to check their Facebook page.
