Amazing completely plant-based burgers. Less greasy than other fake meat style options and good fries

Pros: All vegan, So yum

Why can't there be more like this?

My partner and I drove 24km (one way) to try these burgers...all I can say is it was worth it! I had the Dirty Boy burger and she had the Crispy Chickun Burger. We shared some fries. Both very tasty in their own right. We'll definitely be back to try the other options. Great to have a total vegan burger takeaway shop. Wish there were more places like this, especially on the North Shore.

Pros: Keeping it simple, burgers, burgers and burgers, Typical sides fries, onion rings, wedges, Shakes and drinks

Cons: Not much seating if you want to eat in.

These are good burgers...

This is the 2nd year Wise Boys have been at the WOMAD festival in New Plymouth. I've tried all of the burgers they offer here and all were good. The Morrocan was probably my favorite. They're good sized burgers but not huge. I definitely needed a side of fries to go with my burger to help fill the gap! The vegan condiments like aioli are always appreciated with fries too! Good flavours & fresh ingredients. It's great to have a plant based burger joint at a festival ~ Recommended.

Pros: Friendly staff & good service.

Great burgers and mayo and aioli

I had really liked the Wise Boys mayo I'd bought at Commonsense Organics, Mt. Eden, and looked at the Wise Boys Facebook page to see where their burger truck would be...went to University of Auckland Alfred Street courtyard on a particular Thursday (10 am-2 pm) and had their Moroccan burger, which was delicious – patty made of kumara and carrot with fixings, aioli and a toasted bun, $13. There were two other burgers on offer (beet-bean and tofu) and fries for $5.

vegan burgers and vegan aioli

Tried the burgers couple of times and always very tasty. Staff is very friendly and they get very busy so you might expect to wait for your burger for some time. Definitely worth trying if you happen to see them at an event or market.

Pros: all vegan

Cons: when busy, long wait

nice burgers

I have tried wise boys burgers on two occassions, at a night market and at a vegan festival. very nice but service was a bit slow (possibly because they didn't realise how popular they'd be!)

Pros: good burgers, food truck- get to see at different places

Cons: slow service
