Savoury saviours

Before taking the small but significant step from Vegetarian to Vegan, I loved a savoury cream tea … and I discovered at Willows that I still can!
I met a friend for lunch and this tearoom was well worth the trip, lovely staff and a fixed menu plus specials board. I’ll certainly be back.

Great place, delicious, fresh food

Willow tea rooms was a wonderful find in rural Devon! We had the Californian breakfast and a milkshake with some excellent coffee. The service was friendly & efficient. Barista quality, strong coffee! The breakfast was freshly prepared using good quality ingredients. We highly recommend this place! Also, located in a lovely little Devonshire village; well worth the detour off the beaten track. Thank you Willow tea rooms! 😀❤️

Delicious cream tea

Having seen recommendations for Willow’s on Happy Cow, I wanted to visit. I’m so glad I did! The menu is great and I would definitely go back to try something else. On this occasion, I ordered a cream tea and it was delicious! The scones were tasty and generous in size. There’s loads of tea and coffee available too.
They even brought over a dog biscuit for the dog! Lovely touch!
Definitely worth a visit!

Definitely recommend going there

An absolutely amazing tea room to go to. It's fully vegan with a wide range of food to choose from. The owner was very friendly to both my group and the other customers in there. The food and drinks were made fresh and were all homemade. It's a really friendly atmosphere and good value for money.

Pros: Menu catered for all allergens, good range of food

Cons: There is no cons to this tearoom.

Excellent Food and Friendly Service

We had a smoothie and sponge cake and were so impressed we took a takeaway nachos home. The breakfast and lunch menus are imaginative and varied. Great to find a proper vegan cafe in north Devon. The proprietors and staff go out of their way to accommodate all needs. They even hand wrote a Happy Birthday message on the box of my second slice of takeaway cake.

Good portions. Great food and very reasonable prices. Highly Recommended.

Honestly, wherever you are right now PLEASE go and give this place a try. It’s 100% vegan (yay!) and everything on the menu is super special. Lovely staff too and such a great atmosphere. Ideal for meeting groups of friends or on your own with a book and a spare hour or two to try the varied menu. Hurray for Willows! 🧡

Lovely vegan café in unexpected location

This café is very cute, nicely decorated and in a nice location (road parking outside or a carpark nearby), quite small, so do ring and book a table if you're wanting food.

A large menu of choices for breakfast or lunch, plus coffee, milkshakes, cookies, biscuits and cakes available.

There is a specials board, too.

The owner is very friendly, and seems to be enjoying it there. I hope this café lasts a long time. Worth traveling for.

Pros: Entirely vegan, Great milkshakes, Vegan chai latte!

Cons: Small venue, so may need to call ahead and book
