The passion sour (na) and wildseed burger were both amazing!

The nonalcoholic passion sour had creamy, orange, citrus, sweet, sour and fizzy notes, it was sophisticated and satisfying without rum. Wow!! I think the wildseed burger was superb, my son inhaled it before I could taste it. The outdoor dining area was nice, and was packed. The heat lamps kept it warm and the smells were absolutely amazing. The mushroom zapolle was interesting, like mushroom bread puffs, served with a wedge of lemon and something like vegan tartar sauce. The polenta cakes were flavorful. The curry was good, with fresh herbs, but the squash was slightly undercooked and it could have used more chickpeas for protein, I preferred the Thai Carrot Curry at Twelvemonth. The chocholate cake was light and tasty, but was not as decadent as the chocolate raspberry midnight at Milenium. Two suggestions to management; figure out how to balance the outdoor tables to remove the slight wobble, and trim the foliage near diners, I prefer leaves not envelope me while I eat. I would give it a 4.5 round up to 5. It was expensive but worth it, we plan to come back.

Amazing food and atmosphere

They have a beautiful outdoor seating area! We loved looking at the royal palm trees! the food had wonderfully complex textures, smells and flavor. We enjoyed
The sour cream and onion dip with chips, the seasonal watermelon salad, and the bowl with walnut meat! My husband is not a vegan, and he loved the food as well! 👏🏽

Vegan Food for your Wildest Dreams!

We had takeout from here last week, so can not comment on the restaurant’s service, but really liked the food. My omnivorous wife really enjoyed the Wild Seed burger; well-made, tasty and generous portion. I enjoyed the Spicy cucumbers and the Curried cauliflower. However, I thought the standouts were the Polenta cakes, especially with the addictive chipotle aioli; and the Mushroom Zeppole, incredibly light mushroom fritters, could have consumed a very large number of these, sooo good! Disappointed in the fries ( though
to be fair, dining in they might have been crisper or fresher), just seemed very ordinary. Also, enjoyed the Citrus Almond Cake, but was not bowled over by it, and would have liked to have more dessert choices; especially something chocolate! Still, large menu with many choices to suit your appetite and mood.

Pros: Innovative vegan food, generous serving sizes, Wonderful mushroom fritters!, 100% sustainable and compostable servingware

Cons: Very basic fries; especially at $11.00 as a side, Need moredessert options

Great date night place with vegan food

I’ve been to Wildseed a few times now with my wife. This is one of our favorite vegan restaurants in the Bay Area. We like to celebrate special occasions here. There is a great selection of various vegan food. The decor and ambiance is great. Highly recommend

Great seasonal menu!

Really great upscale vegan restaurant with amazing seasonal food. The menu was well put together with seasonal ingredients and plenty of options. The food was full of flavor and felt very fresh and on the healthy side. Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere was also super enjoyable. There was indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend a reservation if planning to go on a weekend around dinner time. Definitely one of the nicest vegan restaurants I’ve been to! Totally worth going.

Pros: Seasonal menu, Amazing vegan food

6⭐—Literally the best vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to

I don’t say that lightly. Everything from the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees was absolute phenomenal. Tried 6 different things (did family style among a group of 4, highly recommended), and truly everything was exquisite. Truffled flatbread, vegan lamb meatballs, and yellow curry were particular standouts, but I’d re-order everything we tried. Such unique foods, and very fancy feeling despite being not even as expensive as anticipated. Would love to return

Love this place!

We had dinner here on a Monday night (make a reservation if you can!) and it was fantastic! The drinks were great, the staff was friendly and the food was awesome! We got the the cauliflower and mushroom fritter appetizers and for dinner we had the pasta and the risotto. Everything was delicious and if I'm ever back in the area it'll be one of the first stops I make!

This place was fantastic

Took my partner here for her birthday dinner and we splurged. It was worth it. Had a few of the 0% abv drinks and they were delicious. Had a zucchini snack the was great, the mezzie plate app, a mushroom app and a potato flatbread pizza. All were fantastic. Smiles all around. The staff was super nice and kind, totally knowledgeable and friendly. It it was in my budget, I’d go back again and again. Mostly I think we’ll think of this place for special occasions. Loved it.

Pros: Diverse menu delicious food, Friendly staff, It’s plant based only.

Cons: Parking. can be a challenge when it’s really busy

Wildseed or nothing

Because Garden Fresh closed, Wildseed is the only vegan dinner option in Palo Alto. We'd gotten takeout soon after it opened and were not impressed but decided to go there for a family birthday.

Among the four of us, we ordered two different flatbreads, a burger, and a curry bowl. Our server seemed rushed and ran off before we could order drinks. So, okay, no drinks.

The dishes arrived quickly, two of them with seriously undercooked ingredients. I had the potato flatbread, for example, and the sliced potatoes were raw. Raw potatoes can be toxic, and not what I expected for dinner.

The place is also super noisy, which I realize some people like, but which makes conversation almost impossible. The cacophony must be really hard on the people who work there.

Great food

Came in without a reservation and was seated immediately during peak dinner hours on Monday. I love Wildseed in SF and was pleasantly surprised to find this location in Palo Alto. The smoked coconut gouda on the chicories salad was delicious. I was never a salad person until I tried this one. The orecchiette was tasty, better than I remembered from the other location. It's somewhat of a small portion, but that's typical of Wildseed. There's also a kids menu here if you need it!

Amaaaazing! But pricey.

I’m vegan, and this place is heavenly! I loved everything I ate!

Appetizer:
- Albondigas - 5/5 (the best thing I’ve had in a long time, it was so good we got 2 of these! And I ate most of both the dishes. Reminded me off butter chicken gravy with kheema balls and the gravy was fabulous)

Main course:
- Neatball masala - 5/5. It’s a wholesome bowl, with greens, grains, veggies and the neatball masala that tastes like malai kofta!

Cocktails:
1. Coconut chai - 3/5, less alcohol, dessert like.
2. A gin cocktail (I think?) with chia seeds in the ice cube - 3.5/5
The only issue I had with the cocktails was the lack of alcohol in it.

Can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the dishes in this ever changing menu lol.

Pros: It’s fully vegan!, Romantic

Cons: Expensive

Decent

Atmosphere was 10/10 and the food was great. I think I’d built it up quite a bit in my head so was slightly disappointed but honestly, more of a high expectation thing than anything!

The flatbread was decent, pasta dish as well. My daughter had an impossible burger which was awesome. The probiotic bowl was good too. Apps were just ok.

Pros: Atmosphere , Varied menu

Attention: we almost didn’t go. Luckily we did.

For some reason the pictures and reviews didn’t convince us to check out this place. Luckily, non vegan (!) friends made us go there and… we understood the problem: the food is so beautiful and delicious that it’s impossible to stop and take normal pictures. Definitely the best meal we had in California and definitely worth it. (Not cheap) you’ll enjoy every moment. We shared many different dishes, all was incredibly good. The cocktails both before and after dinner are the besttttt.

Great variety

My vegan son and his non-vegan GF took me here for dinner. The waiter gave great suggestions. We loved the Mexican corn cake appetizers and the baba ganoush. The mushroom fritters were pretty good. For main course, the Green Forest flatbread was outstanding. The risotto was quite good. The only dish that was disappointing was the orecchiette pasta- too peppery. And the warm chocolate cake was heaven especially with slice of carmelized banana. The cocktail and mocktail choices were enjoyable- I liked the charcoal lemonade.

Pros: Great service

Cons: Had to ask for clean plates for entrees, Parking can be a challenge

Fantastic

I was introduced to this place by friends last night. Although located in an outdoor mall, they have managed to establish a nice ambience- including outdoor seating. The menu is a great selection of whole food vegan options as well as options using processed plant based meats (eg Impossible Burger and Beyond Sausage). I tried the mezze platter, watermelon salad, pasta and sausage flat bread, and all were fantastic.
