Organic produce, deli, vitamins, and more. Also, there is a bakery inside called Ramone's, which has some vegan friendly cookies and date bars. Open Mon-Sun 6:00am-12:00am. Open daily.

Good Market, but beware the bakery! - Edit
Wildberries Marketplace is excellent.
Read moreBut, vegans must avoid the Ramone's Bakery within the store. Bad labels. No ingredient lists. No vegan desserts; and an ignorant employee gave me a false answer when I explicitly asked (no eggs, no dairy; lactose-intolerant), even though there wasn't any line of customers & she could have looked it up.
When I passed thru ultra vegan-friendly Arcata, I was surprised by the lack of vegan desserts. When I saw the Ramone's counter, I thought other places didn't try because they simply couldn't compete. When I went to Ramone's in Eureka, I found out the truth. The Eureka staff got defensive, rather than apologetic, perhaps fearing getting sued over any reactions from my lactose-intolerance.
Pros: good selection
Cons: bakery bad to vegans

plenty vegan options. relatively rainless/dry summertime redwoods forests opportunity for you to buy vegan supplies for trail hiking picnics. be aware bears could possibly be an issue north-coast CA. just do not store granola bars misc etc in your clothing pockets. have any food in separate bag/pack ready for you to fling the food-pack away from human bodies and climb trees in opposite direction. probably no problem, i never saw bears near Arcata CA. however there are nice nature trails behind HSU campus and public redwoods park. pacific coastal access beaches as well. plenty great nature places for you to haul your picnic items bought from WildBerries MarketPlace, Arcata, Humboldt county, CA.

Super vegan friendly - Edit
Love the hot food bar for a quick to-go dinner. There’s also some yummy wraps that are easy to-go items as well.

Lots of vegan booty! - Edit
Lots of vegan options in the deli, tons of vegan snacks in the isles (we grabbed some kale chips that were fire and some dried mulberries to try...super good too!), fresh vegan smoothies, a coffee shop with all kinds of alternative milks, tons of products from the local Tofu Shop, etc. Only disappointment was the lack of vegan goodies at the bakery. But just head down the road to Wildflower Cafe for those and you won’t be disappointed!

Typical store - Edit
This large store is typical of the current health/organic store, with a big selection (including non vegetarian items). A good place to stock up on groceries.

Lovely Market - Edit
I really love something about the aesthetic of Wildberries - it always smells like fresh-pressed juice and they have a cafe as well. I shop here sometimes because it's simply a closer walk than the co-op. They also give a discount to HSU students on Saturdays. I love their Hot Yoga juice and know I can always find certain products there. However, I think the co-op has a wider selection and is slightly cheaper on some items. Still, Wildberries is nice. You'll want to return.

Cons: Some items can be pricey so pay attention
