Delish - Edit
Busy and friendly vegetarian cafe with lots of vegan options very clearly labelled. The bean bowl with tofu scramble is a very generous portion and is delicious. There are vegan chai mixes which are also delish. Definitely recommend. It gets busy on the weekends and during the holidays so get here early.

Vegetarian Wholefoods Cafe - Edit
We sat on the undercover outdoor tables right in front of the open fireplace which was so cosy.
Read moreWe ordered the nachos, the bean bowl with scrambled tofu and the bowl of hand cut chips with a side of relish.
The bread was able to be substituted for gluten free option.

BIG breakfast - Edit
The tofu scramble was really tasty, and the big breakfast was nice and filling.
Read moreThe cinnamon donut was delicious. It was a cake texture, but the flavours were more complex and tasty than expected.
The cafe was buzzing and although very busy, the staff were lovely.
It was a little odd that when my partner ordered the iced latte the default seems to be cows milk, I thought being run by a vegan, they would try and push their vegan mylks more.
Pros: Tofu scramble, Cinnamon donut, Friendly service

Yumm GF & Vegan options! - Edit
Amazing to have a veg cafe out this far and they do a great job of offering healthy (but delicious) vegan options. Opted for a funky mushroom coffee and a build your own breaky, so good to have gf vegan bread option after eating so much gluten bread everywhere else.

Make sure to support this place at least once, nice stop before/after a hike, staff very friendly & helpful too.

BEST BIG BREAKFAST - Edit
This cafe had a lot of vegan options and had THE BEST vegan big breakfast. It came with scrambled tofu, 2x sourdough slices, mushrooms, a hash brown, tomato relish, beetroot relish, avo and almond feta. The owner is also vegan and was so friendly! I highly recommend this place. I’m sad I didn’t take any pictures of the food.

Beautiful cafe - Edit
I had a lovely lunch at Wild Thyme Cafe today. The sun is shining so everything is all the more beautiful, but the staff were really friendly, there's heaps of seating inside and out, the cafe has a really natural beautiful vibe and the menu has lots of great options for whether you feel like sweet or savoury, big or small. I had the KFV tofu burger which was HUGE but I still managed to get my mouth around it! I sat outside and enjoyed being among the little veggie patches too.

Big servings, fair flava - Edit
We ordered the mushroom and beetroot burger and the house made Smokey beans. Both dishes were huge and well and truly filled us up.
Read moreThe dishes were tasty enough but not very interesting.
The mushroom and beetroot patty was nice but the nice earthy flavour was lost in the big bun and rest of the dish. Might be better served as a bowl without the bun.
The beans were also pleasant but not very interesting. The scrambled tofu just lacked zing. If the scrofu had more contrast I reckon it'd be a banger.
Nice service, they were happy to give us a take away container when we had more food than expected left over. Another nice touch was the container was a reused one they likely use in kitchen prep. So glad to see reuse rather than slinging us a brand new one.

Best Vegan Burgers on the Planet... - Edit
If you want an experience of food rather than just something vegan to eat, then Wild Thyme Cafe in Bright, Victoria is the place to go. I have been vegan since 1990 and I can honestly say that John serves the best vegan burgers I have ever had to pleasure to enjoy. And if you still have room for something sweet then I would highly recommend the vegan pancake experience, it is something out of this world. You will not be sorry, but you will be pleasantly full! When you eat at a place like the Wild Thyme Cafe, you get the true sense that this skilfully and lovingly prepared organic food, that is so, so well presented, is feeding both body and soul.
Read moreWhat more could you ask for than this stunning vegan experience.
I would give Wild Thyme Cafe a rating of 'off the scale'. Thank you so much for this vegan food extravaganza, I'll be back
Pros: Excellent healthy organic Vegan food , Food here is an experience, not just another meal., You feel loved at this cafe

Great vegetarian find in Bright, Vic - Edit
Wonderful to find this place in Bright. Ate there several times whilst on holiday and enjoyed the tasty & fresh food. Had the big breakfast and everything was done to perfection. Also had the mushroom & beetroot burger, which was delicious. The buckwheat pancakes were also great. Owner & staff very friendly & attentive. I recommend this place highly and I'll certainly be going back next time I'm in Bright!

Delicious - Edit
Great surprise in Bright to find a vegetarian restaurant with vegan options. A few of us ordered the big breakfast (with eggs) and loved it, and my son had the buckwheat pancakes which he gobbled down. Coffee was great too. Staff were friendly and caring.

Food was ok - Edit
Got the scrambled tofu big breakfast (made vegan). I would recommend they season the tofu a little bit more and maybe use an olive oil on the toast as it was a bit bland/dry. The coffee was nice though. For a town out of the city I’ve got to say it’s not a bad option for someone looking for a plant based cafe.

Best veggie place in Bright - Edit
Lovely place with very friendly staff. The big vegan brekky was great and very filling. The zoodles pad Thai was also very nice, although I thought the crispy tofu was a little overcooked, giving it a slightly bitter taste. Overall I really enjoyed the food and would be happy to come back.

Tasty Vegan Options - Edit
We stayed for a few days in Bright and chose this place for breakfast on one day and lunch the next, coming back a second time because it was so tasty and the vegan choices were so good. Across the two days and our family of four, we tried quite a few of their dishes: highly recommend the Nachos and the Bean Bowl, the buckwheat pancakes were delicious (although quite light and not super filling). The tofu burger was also good and by contrast extremely filling! The sticky chai latte with soy milk was lovely but make sure they don't add honey for you.

Lovely brunch spot - Edit
First of all, let me say that I loved sitting outside amongst all the garden veges at the front. Decoration and food all in one! And speaking of the food, we got the vegan BBQ burger and beans/tofu scramble which we thoroughly enjoyed (especially those fries, yum). Service was friendly and reasonably speedy as well. Would highly recommend.
