A nice Whole Foods

This Whole Foods is just like any other Whole Foods: big, with many clearly presented vegan options. Many locally farmed produce options are sold. The hot & cold bars, deli, & sushi bar have many vegan & healthy options, though meals at Whole Foods can be expensive.

Pros: Large vegan selection, Local produce sourced

Lots of vegan options, fresh produce

Chain with reliable vegan options. Hot bar has unfortunately become very meat centric at this particular location. This has sadly become an unfortunate trend. They used to have a lot more vegan hot bar options. Better to support the local (river valley food coop) if possible.

Pros: Lots of vegan options

Cons: Expensive

Great vegan pizza and pastries

Standard Whole Foods with a good variety of vegan products. However, this one is a bit better than your typical WFM because they have really good vegan pizza at the hot bar. The slices are huge and brimming with great toppings, like tomato, spinach, red onion, etc. And it makes for a cheap meal: $3.50 for one slice or $6 for two. Some other WFM I’ve been to just have a boring cheez pizza as the vegan option, sans toppings.
I also really like their vegan pastries. They source a handful of baked goods from Jacqueline’s bakery that are really, really good. I absolutely love the triple berry scone.

Pros: Pizza - tasty and affordable, Scrumptious pastries

It's a wholefoods.

Well, it's a wholefoods.
This one has vegan pizza most days (not always), sushi, and hot bar foods of various kinds (some days more vegan than others). The hot bar is not always good, but when it's good it's really good -- choose wisely. Look at it real good and decide whether it's fresh and looks tasty.
As far as the grocery items, this place is my staple. It has everything I want to bring home and stock my cabinets with.

Pros: not huge, but decent size, there's always parking, good hot bar when you're in a bind

Cons: wish they had a burrito bar
