If I could give this place 1000 stars I would. This is my new favorite restaurant in Denver!! My partner and I were so excited trying the different sushi rolls because we were just blown away by the flavor and freshness of each one. I have never had vegan sushi like this. I can’t recommend this place enough, you need to try it!! I will definitely be coming back often😄

Wellness Sushi is a great place to try some form of vegan Japanese food you’ve never had before. They specialize in unique combination of ingredients for their rolls as well as other Japanese cuisine like ramen.

Wow, I was so blown away. My friends and I got 5 rolls and all tried each other’s… all amazing. If I still lived in Denver I would go here way too often haha. Seating is limited and the vibe isn’t the most vibey if you will, but that honestly doesn’t matter because the food is THAT GOOD.

This place was really tasty. I definitely wouldn't say it was the best vegan sushi I've ever had, but it was still pretty good. There is lots of variety to choose from, and I'd love to try more of what they have to offer. Overall, the sushi especially was really tasty. Both my husband and I liked the Ohnagi rolls the best (unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of that before we devoured it lol). The fried tofu onigiri wasn't bad, but I personally wasn't a huge fan of it. The sushi was definitely the best part of our meal. I've had much better vegan sushi traveling to other places, but this is the best in Denver. One other thing I would mention is that the wait was a bit on the long side. We went on a Sunday night and only ordered for two, but it took a little over half an hour to get our food. Certainly not terrible, but I little longer than I would have liked. Either way, Wellness Sushi is definitely worth a try!

The rolls, ramen and goyza is absolutely INCREDIBLE. So flavorful and delicious. You don't feel heavy after eating. The staff is ALWAYS so friendly and happy to have people there.

"My New Favorite Restaurant" is what I overheard one customer say while I was there. I have had a lot of vegan sushi in my day, let me tell you, and this place has so many unique things I've never seen elsewhere! Even in high-end, super-pricey gourmet vegan sushi joints. I was blown away by the shockingly tasty rolls, which does not happen often. Although in Denver for just two days, I ate here for three meals haha. Tip: The web site does not seem to have photos, but the ordering kiosk in the restaurant does. Check out the kiosk for photos and inspiration. I do wish they had sake!

I love how creative and innovative the dishes are. I tried five different dishes because I just simply couldn't decide and knew I had to try a LOT! I ordered the:
okonomi fries
grilled gyoza
ebi tempura roll
w's shoyu ramen
ebi tempura onigiri w/ spicy sauce + emperor rice
Everything was honestly SO GOOD. My favorite part of it all was I think the vegan shrimp. I stillll cannot get over it. I've never even heard of vegan shrimp and they did it flawlessly. I don't know how, but they did it. The krab salad in the ebi roll was incredible, the RAMEN! the onigiri. Everything was great. Highly recommend. Also very fairly priced.
Will definitely go back!!

holy crap. As a VERY SERIOUS sushi eater pre-V, I would say this is out of this world sushi. They have a homemade crab mix that is so realistic and so tasty I couldn’t get enough of it. We were visiting and I wish we were in town longer I definitely would have swung through a few more times. Going to think about this sushi forever. My wife got Ramen and it was SOOOO good too

Delicious sushi & onigiri. We loved the ohnagi in particular. They had outdoor seating when we were there so we got to eat with our dog:) We ordered ahead and ate there; the owner recommended this for busy nights. It got PACKED on Saturday at 7.

Loved the vibe of order at the counter but it’s still an incredible meal & doesn’t feel rushed or like fast food. The options were so so good. We tried a lot of things and even the toddlers enjoyed themselves having the gyoza, fried & egg rolls.

I appreciate its 100% vegan, however I’ve had better vegan sushi at other places including non-vegan restaurants. I had two rolls that didn’t have mock seafood (I never liked seafood and now don’t eat mock) so maybe for folks who miss seafood those rolls are better. I felt the flavors were decent but could be better and it was all one texture. I would go back but I’m not in a hurry.

Sometimes things don't live up to the hype. The same thankfully cannot be said for this East-Colfax eatery, conveniently situated on south side of City Park. Wellness has not only become a fast friend of vegans from near and afar; it's quickly (and deservedly)carving out a space as a Denver institution in its own right.
