Delicious Vegan Ice Cream

They have delicious vegan ice-cream in lots of interesting flavours! It is worth going to get a scoop. Their pizza is average - I would say go for the ice cream, not the pizza. Some of my favourite flavours include matcha and chocolate.

Pros: Great ice-cream

Ate there once and loved the food

I actually went there the day before my 14th birthday with my non vegan friends to try out the vegan pizza. Both of them were impressed at both the pizza and ice cream. I would go there another time but unfortunately it is rather far from my place so if you live in the West I recommend trying Smoocht which is the sister brand of Brownice.

Pros: Good value for money, Impressed even non vegans, Absolutely delicious

Cons: Takes a while to prepare, don't go if in rush

Best vegan pizza & belgian waffles in SG :’)

My absolute fav pizza & belgian waffles in SG, vegan or not :’) Love their delicious vegan cheese & their truffle pizza especially, & really really love how their waffles are perfectly crispy on the outside & soft on the inside :’) Ice-cream wise, I love their earl grey flavour, but that’s not always available!

Pros: Best pizza & waffles

yay for ice cream and pizza

Brownice has 3 outlets, each with slight differentiations, and this is a slightly smaller outlet compared to the other 2. Usually manned by one person only, it is impressive how nice the workers are usually, and patiently cater to all our requests. I hope by after school perhaps a little too much for their amazing ice cream and pizza and waffles (matcha flavoured).

Favourite ice cream (cone double scoop) : hazelnut, matcha, Xiao hei (black sesame) - do note that the texture differs slightly each time, but you can try the ice cream before deciding on what to buy!
Favourite pizza: Burrata and bbq chicken
Favourite waffle: matcha

Super love Brownice!

Brownice was part of my itinerary for my Singapore trip and it was seriously worth the travel! We had the burrata pizza - which tasted like ham - and strawberry and earl grey ice cream. So delicious! I'm so in love with the earl grey ice cream and the strawberry is the best strawberry ice cream I've had.

Pros: 100% vegan

Cons: A bit expensive

Vegan ice cream and pizza

The cafe has such good vibes, friendly customers and friendly staff! The ice cream is wonderful! Made from brown rice milk, you can gladly indulge in their ice cream without feeling sinful😄their vegan pizza also tastes amazing and taste EXACTLY LIKE REGULAR PIZZA it was pretty mind blowing😄It's a little bit pricey though. It's also a bit hard to find the cafe as its under a hdb block. I recommend walking along the road and then turning into the block instead of cutting through the blocks. Alternatively, you can try cutting through the sports centre :)

AMAZING FOOD

the food and pizza here is amazing!!! Tastes exactly like non vegan pizza and the price is very reasonable!!!!! The staff are friendly and the ambience is amazing. The only bad thing about it is the location (abit out of the way) but other than that everything else is amazing

Delicious pizzas and Ice creams!

The ice creams are amazing - love their Green Tea matcha, Strawberry and Gula Melaka flavour.

I’ve tried all their pizzas too - my favourite being the BBQ ‘chicken’

nice vegan ice cream and pizza

First time eating vegan ice cream, the matcha waffle with chocolate ice cream was yummy!
The BBQ chicken was good too, definitely looking forward to more future visits!
The place was surprisingly quiet on a sat night, we almost had the whole place to ourselves.

A hidden gem, for sure

The place is located in the heartlands under a HDB block but has so much to offer from a nice cosy setting to a wide range of ice cream flavors (both local and exquisite). I’ve had the pleasure of trying both their pizzas and ice cream and can - confidently - say that I thoroughly enjoyed them. Definitely planning my next visit soon.

Pros: Cool ice cream flavors like earl grey/sesame

Cons: Wish they had more pizza flavors?

Best vegan ice cream

I've tried countless vegan ice creams in Singapore and this brand is by far my favourite. Their neutral base of rice milk doesn't mask any of their flavours, which include some of my favourite Oriental hits like black sesame (my number one favourite!) and green tea. Their coconut ice cream is not too rich with a distinct, pure coconut flavour. Take a tub or two home and you won't regret it!

Pros: Good value , Perfectly sized portions , Creamy without being too sickly rich or sweet

The place for vegan ice cream

If you are looking for vegan ice cream, this is the place. Delicious with all sorts of flavours, and you can even have ice cream on freshly made vegan waffles. Lots of interesting drinks, such as ice cream floats. And, their pizza is good too.

Pros: Great taste, Many different flavours, Not far from buses, MRT and MacRitchie Reservoir.

Cons: Expect to wait about 20 mins for the pizzas.

Love Brownice ice cream!

Was getting allergies to ice cream bought in stores and supermarkets.. chanced upon Brownice ice cream! Can't believe how great and delicious it tastes and also how healthy it made my body.. highly recommend to all, even if you're not vegan or vegetarian, this is definitely a healthier ice cream your body needs!

Amazing!!

Icecream to die for!!! the day I went the icecream freezer wasn't full (I think they had had some issue with the mixer machine) but there were still about 6 flavours to choose from. I had coconut sugar and hazelnut flavour. The scoops are big! A bit expensive but worth it for a great or share with a friend.

Pros: Great flavour choices.

Cons: Expensive

Service is commendable

We did not exactly hv a positive dining experience as there is some issue with one of the food we ate. However the manager is very pro active in service recovery. We were compensated adequately.

Pros: Good service

Awesome!

We spent 3 days in Singapore and had to go to Bownice every single day because the food was so awesome that we didn't dare to try another place. My favorite was the lasagna and the hazelnut icecream (it tastes just like Nutella)

Great pizza and to-die-for ice cream

The pizzas can be a little hit and miss (tasty, but a tad dry) but involve some interesting flavour combinations. I don't think there's much more to be said about the enormous, and incredible luxuriant ice-cream spread available.

Pros: Excellent food

Cons: Slightly inaccessible

enjoyed a lot

Brownie was very good and only $4, vanilla ice-cream tasted a bit like ribena to me not best flavor, however dark chocolate was so delicious. Recommend ice-cream you can test it for free (should have tested vanilla

Pros: yummy , low fat

Cons: didn't like the taste of vanilla

Nice place, but choice to eat limited

Went there yesterday with a friend. Shared 2 pizzas and also had icecream. Pizza were nice, but I would have liked to have a salad to go with it (the least you can expect from a vegetarian - yes I do like green!). But food is limited to only pizza... This is in fact much more an ice-cram / tea place. In other words, it's a good place for a desert or afternoon tea, but it could be largely improved for lunch/dinner by adding more choice to the menue. I hope they will!

Pros: pizza a good, liked the vegan icecream, staff is nice

Cons: very limited choice if you have lunch

Amazing!

Brought my parents along to Brownice a few days ago and they absolutely loved it! They are non-vegans and they simply enjoyed the food there.

The classic pizza was incredible. It was light and yet filling at the same time! My mother ordered waffles with a scoop of ice cream, and she couldn't stop raving about it. She even said it tasted better than non vegan waffles! The pure hazelnut ice cream flavour is definitely a must-try! Not too rich & sweet.

Service was very efficient and friendly! The cost of the items are also very reasonable & cheap considering the portions. Will definitely be back for more!

Pros: Great food, Efficient service, Friendly staff

Cons: None

Delicious! One of my favourite places in SG!

I love brownice! Everything is vegan, the ice cream is creamy, delicious and they always have different creative special flavours. You can try different ice creams before having to choosing which ones you'll have. The waffles are yummy and their fudge brownie is one of the best brownies I've ever had! Must try :) so fudgy and full of chocolate! I've been there lots of times and the staff is always nice and happy :) you can easily spend a lot of time there, just bring a good book! The pizzas are also nice, creative combinations, Asian fusion I'd say. They're good but not comparable to a original Italian one. But still worth a try. Prices are reasonable too! Not really more expensive than normal ice cream shoos in Singapore - but at brownice everything's handmade, fresh, healthy and vegan, so that's great value! As I said, I love it :)

Delicious!

I happened to be lucky to live near this place when I was singapore. Very delicious vegan ice cream! Another plus was their waffles, the only gluten free waffles I've found in an ice cream shop in Singapore. When I spoke to the manager, she mentioned they use non refined cane super and rice milk to make their ice cream. My favorites were the dark chocolate, hazelnut and durian. I believe an average cup was almost $4. Pretty average price for ice cream.

In Singapore, It's hot, it's humid, so if you're craving ice cream, this is the nicest and healthiest option. Oh, and they have free alkaline water for guests.

Pros: Delicious ice cream, Healthiest ice cream shop in Singapore, Serves free alkaline water

My favorite vegan ice-cream

It's strange to put brown rice to make ice-cream and I found that doesn't suit with all flavours but if you like peanut butter you must try this one !!! It's the best ice-cream I've ever tasted :) Also they have vegan cones and waffles who are delicious, cakes and for the one who prefer salty stuff, mushroom toasts. You will have to take a bus from the MRT station.
