Unimpressed - Edit
I had heard good things. I was excited to try a new Vegan place. I took my very non-vegan family, promising them that they would not be disappointed. We were ALL disappointed. Every single item ordered at our table was not good. None of us were happy. Even the fries were bad...and those are hard to mess up. It was late, and our waitress didn't seem too happy to have a large family to serve. We paid a lot of money since there were 7 of us eating. Everyone hated their meals and most of the food was left behind. Huge waste of money.

I was really excited to check this place out! All vegan, which makes it really easy and exciting because of all the different things they have to offer. Unfortunately, my first experience was not the greatest, our server was really short with us, and he seemed like he was in a hurry to be else where, we ordered the cauliflower wings and realized it’s only a crispy batter, the cauliflower itself had a whatever texture, the food wasn’t that warm, and they were drowning in sauce. That was whatever, I ordered their breakfast burrito which is fully loaded, and had the gravy added, unfortunately that was a terrible mistake, it did not taste good (my bad on that) and again my food was room temperature, and so was my partners plate as well. I normally would tell my server, but when you’re already feeling like your server is annoyed, you don’t. I think what the restaurant is doing is great but they need more staff on busier days, and perhaps make their menu a little smaller and focus on their core foods.

Extensive vegan menu and large seating area. Huge variety of options on the 100% plantbased menu. Never had a bad experience here. This is my go to place in Denver for lunch/dinner.

Best lunch - Edit
I had Lunch here today and couldn’t resist having mac and cheese as a side, was really rich and creamy. For the main course I had the Vietnamese Noodle Soup. It was a huge bowl with lots of great flavor. Lots of great options and amazing desserts.

Not the best - Edit
Had dinner here. Seitan wings were ok but the buffalo sauce was overwhelmingly vinegary. The ranch/Bleu cheese dipping sauce just tasted bland, like tahini. Cubano sandwich was good. Mac and cheese wasn't super flavorful except for a strong coconut flavor.

A Must for Everyone! - Edit
I come here when I’m in town and have brought non-vegans (yet), and all have said it’s amazing. The $5 HH nachos are insanely good and filling. All salads are mouth-watering. They got the cheese making down!

restaurant has changed a lot - Edit
I have been going to Watercourse for 5 years now and have seen a lot of change, both good and bad. The food is hit or miss with new dishes, I’ve had some great food and also some very bad food. The macaroni and cheese is absolutely terrible and flavorless. The burgers and salads are great, as are the cauliflower wings. The worst part about this restaurant is the service. They tend to take away favorite menu items and replace them with new options quite often. Some wait staff are great, some are awful.

Vegan choices in Downtown Denver - Edit
This restaurant is in walking distance of the main business/hotel district. The menu is packed with vegan options. Cuisine is a level above urban/street eats. Entrees are delicious and come with choices of sides that are equally good. Visit during off hours so you don’t have to wait as this is a popular destination.
Read morePros: Full vegan menu; lots of choices , Great service and nice setting , Menu reflects broad range of cuisine styles

Tasty Mac and Cheese! :) - Edit
Amazing selection of food! I had the Mac and Cheese with steamed kale and it was delicious. Also ordered the Korean BBQ Seitan Wings that were decent, but could've used some more flavor. Overall loved the space and the staff was very friendly.

We stopped here on the way from Denver International down to Colorado Springs and had the most amazing first meal for our Colorado vacation. Cauliflower wings app, then the breakfast burrito for me and the burger for my husband. All of it was perfect!
