Enough options, fast service - Edit
I ordered a vegan curry with seitan. It was quite good. It was served with a salad which was slightly disappointing. Would have liked to have more veggies on the side. Service was quick and staff was nice.

Asian food worth the money - Edit
A lot of vegan options and big portion sizes! The vegan options where labeld with a green star in the menu. We had the ramen with dumplings and vegan ribs. Cozy vibe and a good restaurant for having a fun laughs with friends!

Schöner stylischer Laden - Edit
Super stylischer Laden. Etliche vegane/vegetarische Gerichte. Obwohl wir sehr spät da waren, war es kein Problem noch etwas bestellen zu können. Nettes Personal.

It was good! - Edit
I was a bit worried going there with a few omnivore friends when I saw the reviews, but I’m glad we did. Ramen with tofu was nice. Would go again next time I’m in the area. I mean it’s nothing extraordinary but still decent food and service easy to get to.

Poor uninspiring food - Edit
We ordered the Vegatsu vegan curry with seitan and the vegetarian pad thai, with cauliflower bites as a starter. In fact I wanted to order the vegetables curry, but the waitress suggested the curry with seitan as the real vegan version. I pitty that I followed her suggestion because she gave me the impression it was the same vegetable curry with seitan added, however this curry had no vegetables at all (except of some salad leaves on the side), only seitan chunks... The seitan curry comes with a very big heap of rice. I'd rather see less rice and less seitan, but vegetables added. The curry sauce was not impressive and it tasted like it was not fresh, but more from a package.
Read moreMy partner didn't like the pad thai with tofu at all, he tasted mostly sugar... Also, unfortunately there was 1 piece of meat in his meal... The waitress handled this relatively well; she told the responsible person, I saw that the kitchen was informed as well, and someone extra came to apologize and my partner could choose a dessert for free (but he preferred a coffee). So they solved this quite well, but it should not have happened. My partner continued eating his dish, but I would have had really difficulties to continue eating...
The cauliflower starter was not bad, but quite oily.
The staff was friendly and helping from the moment we arrived.
Our overall impression is that this place is a bit a running 'machine' where food cost is kept as low as possible and everything has to go fast so that as many as possible customers can dine. Also, people at 1 table do not get their meals at the same time, you get yours when it's ready, so I was already eating when my partner got his meal. I saw the same happening at the table beside us. So this place feels more like a fast food experience, it's not suited for a cosy dinner.

Okay - Edit
The kare burosu is good and so are the vegan bao buns. The staff is mostly nice. There is a weird and rude rule, in my opinion, that you can bring outside drinks but cannot drink them?

Finally can go back to Wagamama - Edit
The vegan options are often the regular dishes veganized. I remember loving the fried chicken (ugh ... what was I thinking ...) and curry, and now they have a vegan version with fried vegetables and curry.
Read moreThe staff is often friendly, but it can be quite busy there.

Decent meal - Edit
My partner and I were shopping in Antwerp and we decided to stop at Wagamama because we saw that they had vegan items on their menu. I had the Vegatsu which I thought was pretty good, and my partner had the vegan ramen. The food was lacking a bit of flavor but it was a decent meal.

To be honest, I always have take-out here but still it never disappointed. The 'new' vegan menu is quite extensive and so far everything I had was very tasty! The katsu curry is one of my favourites. Convenient central location.

The renewed vegan menu is awesome! - Edit
We came here to try the renewed vegan menu and it was literally awesome! I had the vegan ramen with coated tofu and grilled mushrooms. We also shared some vegan gyozas. It was so great! Unfortunately it does get really loud inside and we had to wait a long time, but still worth it. Will return!

Not bad! - Edit
I was happy to find out that they have a separate vegan menu. So, no need to check ingredients, just choose what you fancy. :)
Read moreThe first time I had the yasai katsu curry, which was surprisingly good. The second time I had the yasai pad thai; but this one was just ok. It was missing some flavor, and perhaps a couple more vegetables.
Prices are correct, and the service was rather quick (approx. 10 minutes when taking out).
Prices could be a little less expensive; but all-in-all, a good option around Antwerp Central station.

Mediocre - Edit
The vegan noodles were really mediocre at this place. Of course it's 'fastfood' and I didn't expect to be blown away, but I think they could do better. It was a bit plain... Service was friendly!

I didn't eat here but..... - Edit
I was in Antwerp over Easter long weekend. I decided to get the vegan options at Wagamama. However I noticed there was no vegan menu.
Read moreI asked at the counter and was referred to another gentleman who was very honest and said if your happy with cross contamination then we can help you. He said they cannot guarantee 100% vegan meal.
I didn't eat here and went home hungry as not much else open. But thanked him for his honesty.
Just letting my fellow vegans know just in case.
Pros: Honest staff
Cons: Cross Contamination , No vegan set menu
