Finally! Mi Bandeja! - Edit
I was very excited to find this spot. Street parking. So many delicious looking/sounding items in the menu. Had the three empanadas … each one different and each one delicious. The Korean Fried Cauliflower is not something I would expect at a Latin inspired spot but it proved to be something they do well. Star of the night was what made me say “that’s the place”. The Colombian Bandeja Paisa. Wow! It was so very good. The rice and beans, the avocado, the ground “meat” and the chicharrón … OMG! Loved it all and I am so looking forward to coming back. Not sure if I will try anything else because what I ordered was so worth repeating. The one item that didn’t add anything (for me) was the vegan egg in the bandeja paisa. Would love to see them add a vegan chorizo.

Vegan Philly cheesesteak - Edit
Yes, the cheese was gooey and made the seiten/mushroom, peppers and onions very very messy. But it was GREAT!!! The bread was fresh, and the sandwich was full of so much flavor.!

A little spendy, but good! - Edit
The food was authentic and delicious, but me & a friend spend $50 on 2 entrees and water, but that’s New York for you. And to be fair, there were fairly cheap options at the restaurant (3 empanadas for $12) I got the “Bandeja Paisa” and the chicharrón was very impressive.

This was one the first spots I went to as a vegan and quickly became my favorite. I have probably ordered everything on the menu, and was never disappointed. I love there interpretation of vegan and they know how to mix flavors together.

Hits the VSpot - Edit
The Avocado BLT wrap hit the spot for me! The flavors were great and the “bacon” was perfectly crunchy. A little pricey for what it is ($14.50) and it may not be enough food if you’re starving. But it feels great to support an all-vegan business!

Could be better SPA/ENG - Edit
Honestly, I love the fact that this place is a vegan latin food restaurant! Everything on the menu is vegan so you are 100% safe of cross contamination (if you are one of those).
Read moreFirst time I ordered the Bandeja Paisa, it was good! Too much food as expected for this plate but honestly: a bit to expensive.
Second time I ordered the lasagna, flavor was ok but the pieces was a bit little of what I imagined it would be, too much sauce for me, looked like a soup and not a lasagna. Lasagna comes with a cesar salad, which is good because it helps you to fill out yourself a bit but my biggest issue was onions and tomatoes on the salad… like, first time I eat a cesar salad with onions and tomatoes on it 😅 Did not like that, dressing was good though!
I have come only during lunch time and it is pretty quiet, don’t know how is during the night.
Is a good option if you are missing or craving Latin food.

Best burrito Ever - Edit
There are a lot of vegan options in New York City and I used to go to them when I lived there but now that I just going to the city every once in a while for work it’s really nice to be able to order delivery to my office. I ordered from the V spot because I was looking for some thing somewhat healthy and vegan and easy and I took a leave of faith and ordered both lunch and dinner because I was going to be traveling and I’m so glad I did.
Read moreFirst I ordered the vegan BLT avocado wrap and it was the bomb.com. I really love BLTs in general so it was already a win in my book because I don’t get them very often but I felt it was really flavorful and fresh and they didn’t skimp on ingredients for a wrap.
For dinner I ordered the original chik’n burrito and oh my God wow. SO much flavor and goodness. I ate it a few hours after it was prepared and it wasn’t even warm and it was unreal. Knock your socks off good.
I think I found the place I’m gonna be ordering from more frequently when I go to the office now.

Cheese steak - Edit
I’ve only tried their philly cheese steak. It was delicious and very savory. The cheese sauce they used in the sandwich was also very good. The only thing that turns me off was that the last time I came here, they had a B rating from the food inspectors. I hope that changes soon.

I had the quesadilla supreme and avocado fries. My girlfriend had the breakfast taco platter. Everything was fantastic. We happened to come while a fair was going on, and it was packed, but we didn't have to wait long for service. If I come back to the area, I will revisit.

This place has a really nice interior, and the wait staff was super friendly. We weren't too impressed with the food, though. The arepa was decent but far from mindblowing. And we didn't finish the Chilaquiles because they felt like a mushy pile of carbs. I think their burgers are good, though.

The food and service are both really inconsistent. This is one of those places that was interesting when it opened but hasn’t kept up with the times. It does have a good rotation of desserts from Vegan Treats, though.

service - Edit
The only reason this place gets two stars is because the food is really good. The service, however, leaves a lot to be desired. I won’t be back despite my regular patronage. A 20 minute wait for a table when a table for four was available immediately. They wouldn’t seat us because there was only two of us. Two parties of two and a party of one were waiting to be seated because they refused to sit a party of two at a table for four. When there wasn’t a party of four waiting. This isn’t the first time I’ve had attitude/bad service, but I thought maybe the servers were having a bad day. It looks like it’s just a part of the culture there. Too bad.

Mock meat options - Edit
A nice variety of foods (large menu), and many mock meat options- the ground beef/carne makes you feel like you’re eating meat. Their empanadas are amazing, and their quesadilla is really good. I would order the menu items as they are for the best flavor experience, meaning don’t bother adding meat to quesadilla. Some food items can be a hit/miss, so I deducted a star.

Delicious and Lively - Edit
Small and loud, but wow, really good food. Of the 4 entrees I sampled, the spinach and portebello taco was my favorite, very flavorful and juicy. The pizza burger was unique and had a fantastic marinara sauce on it. Some people may be less excited that they use Beyond Meat and Chik'n in some dishes but they make their own seitan, and shred it Columbian style, which was unique and tasty.

Cons: Really loud and tight quarters
