My family and I came to this lovely establishment with low expectations and I’m glad we did because the experience we had was amazing, I mean blew our MINDS, you could tell that the lady of this establishment is passionate about her craft. From the vitality espresso with my choice of almond milk all the way to the tempura teriyaki vegan sushi roll was delicious, It was so amazing that my sister ordered some sushi rolls to go. My mom ordered the tempura bowl and it was so delicious that I ordered a bowl to go as well but I did the teriyaki bowl instead. As a person who just started out vegan this food was BOMB and I know without a shadow of a doubt that I can do this lifestyle and enjoy my food. I wanted to touch on the vegan fried shrimp that was in my mom’s bowl it was soooo good I mean the best vegan shrimp I had in my life!!! If you want a substitute of shrimp or meant this is the place to be. I know for a fact I will be coming back. Trust me give this place a try because you will not be disappointed at all. I even ordered food to go for my husband he had the burger I can’t remember which one but just to put everything in perspective it took us about 45 min to get home and he heated his food in the air fryer and he said it was really good so I now when we do come together in person it will be even better. We are just all super grateful for this experience and will be back again. Thank you I wish I knew your name ma’am everything was PERFECT and made with love

and burger. The bowls were good and bigger than expected.
The star was a the sushi which was exceptional and we all wished we had just stuck to that option.

Its not often that we are impressed like this, but this little place took us pleasantly by surprise one day we were passing through Tampa and we can’t get over it! Not even exaggerating, the blackjack roll may have been the best sushi we have EVER had, even from before we were vegan! We recommend it tempura fried!! The tempura was crisped to perfection, and the jackfruit crab they put on it is a dead ringer for the real thing! We also got the Panang Curry which was right on point!! You can tell that this is an establishment based on a true passion for flavor!! Can’t wait to try their other things! Everyone their was so down to earth and friendly as well. Love this spot!

Vegan Sushi that isn’t just a Cucumber Roll! - Edit
The sushi here is phenomenal! Okay I love some veggie sushi and usually I order sweet potato rolls or cucumber rolls, but I love that this place offers a variety of fancy rolls without any harm to sea life! This place has a variety of sushi with vegan “fish eggs” to garnish the rolls. Additionally, prices aren’t too awful but can be costly if you get a lot. I haven’t tried their sandwiches but I’ll definitely go again and see if I can leave another review or update this one to see how that goes! If in the North Tampa area, definitely recommend getting some veggie sushi.

The sushi was pretty delicious, but pretty expensive for what you get and not "meal-sized" as advertised in my opinion. The tacos, I'm not sure what it was but the ranch on them tasted a bit sickening to me - my partner didn't mind it and thought they were pretty good so it is just a preference thing. I wish they had options for cheaper sushi (i.e. just an avocado/cucumber roll for like $5 like they have at a typical sushi restaurant), because I would prefer to support an all-vegan establishment but can't justify spending $40 here for light sushi and tacos on a regular basis.

I drove 45 minutes to try out this place and I was not disappointed. The east west tacos were amazing and had such great flavor. I also loved the voodoo fries, they were quite yummy and I love their fun shape. I will be back for sure!

Finding a vegan place that will also satisfy our parents is sometimes a challenge. They loved the food at Voodu Vegan. The food is so well-seasoned and delicious. We had burgers and sandwiches, and then came back for breakfast/brunch the next morning. Everything was so good. The server (owner?) was fabulous.

It is a smaller menu than a lot of places, which I appreciate! They have several sushi options and some sandwich options. The service was quick and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious and artfully presented!

Very beautiful and inventive sushi rolls and sandwiches.  we had the teriyaki seduction roll and the dragon love roll, And split the Tempeh sandwich. We both preferred the teriyaki roll but everything was delicious!

The teriyaki roll was a beast. If not the best vegan roll I've had it comes very close to it. So perfectly done. The philly sandwich was also very good and fries well seasoned. But the teriyaki roll with tempura crust, yes! Order 5 of them if you like.

Alisha is wonderful. Teriyaki Seduction Roll is amazing. I have also tasted her Vitality drink potion with almond milk so delicious. The voodoo Philly was good. Above and Beyond Burger was flavorful.

This place had maybe the best vegan philly i’ve ever had! The teriyaki roll was also fantastic. Server was super friendly and helpful, and even asked if there was anything she could do to improve our experience. Would absolutely recommend this small local spot to anyone in the area, even non vegans.

The Teriyaki Seduction roll is incredible and the East End Tacos are an honorable mention as well. Everything was super flavorful and the owner is a sweetheart. 10/10 can’t recommend it enough.

I cannot recommend this place enough. Absolutely fantastic experienc and food. Restaurant with a small menu made with clean ingredients. We got the dragon roll and the teriyaki seduction bowl and this was one of the best vegan sushis I have ever had surely. Alicia is such a warm person and made the experience so amazing, the meal felt so wholesome, and that made this one of the best vegan restaurants I have been to. I can't wait to go back again and get more people to come here.

I come here almost every week… everything on the menu is 👩🏻🍳🤌🏼 chef’s kiss! Alicia (the owner) is super personable and puts a lot of love into the food. You can not go wrong with anything on the menu. Everything has just the right amount of spice and is super filling without making you feel sluggish.
