Must try when in town, no matter how long the line looks! - Edit
The line is always out the door, but moves pretty fast. The bottom shelf of the display are the vegan doughnuts. They are all great! Except the grape flavor... I cannot stand the flavor of grape! My new favorite is the PB & J! If you order a vegan dozen and have them pick, it’s cheaper. They will pretty much give you one of each flavor available at the time. Also, a voodoo dozen is 13 doughnuts.

Way better than I expected - Edit
I thought this is one of the super greasy&damn sweet fried sugar bread store(yes this is how I feel with desserts of the US), but maple cream doughnut I had was really soft and satisfying(still oily and sweet but not awfully). Also the doughnuts are huge!

Tasty but location not great - Edit
Lots of vegan options. Very very busy central location with always a long line and homeless people begging out the front. Not friendly staff, I recommend the second location in Portland!

Delicious donuts - Edit
When in Portland, we had to go to this iconic spot. The donuts here were delicious although the line was pretty long. The line moved pretty fast so we didn't have to wait too long. We got four different donuts (Dirt, Grape Ape, Chuckles, and Homer). They had unique but enjoyable flavors to each of them.

Timeless Classic - Edit
What can I say? As a former Portland resident I’ve eaten my share of vegan Voodoo. While in town for just a few hours, I swung by to take my tastebuds on a trip down sugary memory lane. The vegan cake w/ sprinkles and the vegan glazed were both as decadent as I remembered. These are the best donuts I’ve ever had, although I’ll keep trying to find a new favorite...!

Must when in Portland - Edit
We didn't know it was that iconic until we actually visited it. The options for vegans is mind blowing. Luckily we went there off peak time and still there was good amount of queue. The Portland cream (spin off Boston cream) was out of the world. I still can't believe that was vegan cream!! Even the others (vanilla oreo, plain glazed, chocolate glazed) were equally amazing.

Vegan Options, FTW. - Edit
Yummy and conveniently located in CityWalk so you’re not the only person left out when all your non-vegan friends are chowing down junk food. A friend gifted me three different vegan doughnuts and I was happy he did. Prior to him sound so I had always walked past the place unaware of the fact that they had vegan options, but never again. I’ve found my new CityWalk faves!

Must visit if in Portland - Edit
Voodoo doughnuts is an absolute must visit when in Portland. They are decently priced $2.5-3 and quite large. I tried the old dirty bastard, the voodoo doll and the pb and j. The voodoo doll was filled with jelly not cream like I expected. The old dirty bastard was my favourite. You have to visit at least once when in Portland just remember it’s cash only and be prepared to wait in line (20 minutes). To avoid the long line get there before 8:30am.

Highlight of Portland - Edit
Obviously, this is the main attraction food-wise for vegans in Portland. This was definitely the location I was most excited about visiting. And for good reason. Of course, there will always be lines and you will have to wait (we probably waited for 45-60 minutes) but you know you're going to do it anyway because where else are you going to get these AMAZING vegan donuts? (Besides the 2nd location where the wait is significantly shorter but let's not worry about that now). This is located conveniently across from the "Keep Portland Weird" sign and right next to the waterfront. The donuts are excellent and overall it's just a great experience - a must do as a vegan visiting Portland.

Solid, classic donuts - Edit
I've been to a couple all-vegan donut places recently and they leaned heavily on cake donuts (raised donuts are the only real donuts, as far as I'm concerned), and they were expensive and trying too hard to be interesting. It's great of you to offer a turmeric donut, but please, for the love of God, only offer such a thing if you have a stock of plain glazed and chocolate donuts too. Voodoo has the goods. Yes, the lines are long. Though I happened by on a weekday morning and bought a donut just because there was no line. They have traditional flavors, as well as their trademarked wacky ones. The bottom line is they make solid vegan donuts. My wife was amazed that the cream-filled was vegan. Good selection, good variety, tastes like a donut.

Wicked vegan doughnuts - Edit
"I think it is the most famous Portland's place to have some doughnuts. Fortunately, almost half of the offer is vegan and there is no difference in variety as compared to the non-vegan offer. You can have a doughnut of almost every flavour. Some are better, some are worst, but nonetheless they are worth of trying. My favourite was the one voodoo-shaped with chocolate glaze and fruit filling.

If you're in the mood for something sweet & tasty, go to Voodoo... but save yourself some headache, go to the cart in SE at Cartlandia. They're great, but NOT worth the wait.
