Very tasty tempeh burger! - Edit
I had the tempeh burger which was super delicious. There are enough tables inside even though it was very busy. I did not have to wait long to eat. The staff is very friendly. Nice alternative atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place.

Der Gyrosteller kommt mit der Würzung geschmacklich und auch vom Mundgefühl sehr nahe an das Original - sehr herzhaft! Die Soßen und Pommes waren auch Klasse! Das ist definitiv jedem zu empfehlen, der manchmal Heißhunger auf solche eine Art von Gericht hat...

Ich hatte den Vönerteller und mein Partner das Gyros, beides war sehr lecker. Man kann bei jedem Gericht zwei Saucen dazu wählen, der Hummus war sehr lecker. Der Vönerteller hat gut geschmeckt, aber die Konsistenz des Seitans könnte besser sein, ohne Sauce wäre dieser mir zu trocken. Dafür ist das Gyros herausragend.

Friendly staff + cozy alternative-antique-punky-chic interieur which I like.
Read moreServes all the Imbiss classics such as Pommes, Burger, Döner, Currywurst & Gyros but the better way, of course.
I had the Tempeh Burger which was really hard to eat, but very tasty and sauce-rich, liked that.
My friend had the Vöner and thought it was a little too salty, but the sauce helped & ofcourse this depends on your salt preferences.
Would recommend and return on every Leipzig stay.
Pros: serves well made vegan Imbiss-classics, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff

It was so hard to decide because everything sounded so good. I had the "Vönerteller" and it was great. The seitan had a great flavor but not the best consistency. I still loved it a lot there and would love to go there again!

had vöner im brot and vöner teller, as well as a few other items on the menu. i wanted it to taste good but it truly wasn’t great - sauces were bland, seitan wasn’t done well, etc. im sure there are other things on the menu people like (it’s usually pretty busy), but it wasn’t for me.

very nice atmosphere and staff. Large selection, I could hardly decide but was very happy with my choice (Thüüüringa with fries). The rainbow cake in particular was outstanding! You can also buy the black beer goulash in cans to enjoy at home.

After not having döner and gyros for years, visiting Vleischerei was a true delight. The staff was very friendly, the food arrived fairly quickly and tasted wonderful. For those who have a small stomach (like me), consider sharing the "plates" (such as the "Vöner Teller") with someone because the portions are really large.

Meanwhile I am 10 years vegan and vegan doner that tastes and feels like doner I find very hard to come by, so I was super excited after several years of not-having.
Read moreMy expectations were met, and I might travel to Leipzig again, just for this treat. Of course, I ate while walking but while waiting for the food I saw the tables and the service there was also great.
