Great Burger. Cute Location. - Edit
Really enjoyed VivaBurger. I wouldn't agree with other reviews that it was the best burger, vegan or otherwise, that I have had, but it was a nice hearty meal. If you are looking for yummy food, a cute location, and serviceable hours (they aren't open for just 3 hours like so many other places) then I would recommend VivaBurger.

Viva burger is to me the best place to eat vegan burgers in Madrid. They have a nice range of burgers, with quite different tastes and options (including various vegan cheese). The price is a bit high but you get a really enourmous burger and it may be hard to finish it if you are not very hungry. It was not the best burger of my life but definitely the best of Madrid. The restaurant is located in a nice square, it has great vibes and the staff is friendly and efficient. Definitely the place to be for an hungry vegan.

All the burgers are vegan from the start (so there is no chance of losing an ingredient to know replacement) the two burgers we had were very tasty and came with a side, the vegan cheese (which I usually avoid) was surprisingly good. Decent selection of beers and wines on offer and friendly staff. The square it is set in is a pleasant place to spend the evening.

I tried the Queen and the Chingona burgers and both were delicious. The Chingona tasted fresh and the Queen tasted more indulgent. The portion sizes are generous and the atmosphere is lovely. I went back a second time and tried the Blú and Ahumada and they were amazing too. The 'blue cheese' tasted so much like the real thing which surprised me!

Viva burgers had a great selection of items on the menu but are a bit pricey. Burgers were tastey but unfortunately mine had that falling-apart veggie burger problem and they serve you your food on a small cutting board so soon my food was all over the table. The burgers come with potatoes which were great. Service was just ok. There is a 10% fee for sitting on the terrace which we were bummed to find out upon getting the bill since staff didn't tell us before. The inside of the restaurant actually looked way cooler! Oh well, still pretty good burger and would recommend.

Read moreI took a seat outside but after a while I went inside as it looked like the service doesn't work. The waitress inside was nice and friendly, spoke good English so I ordered and stayed inside. As I had a burger a day ago in different restaurant, I went for a daily Italian menu which consisted of pasta salad and lasagna. Starter was quite big so I was worried if I could finish the main dish but I did. The second meal wasn't as big as I expected. Dessert was nice too. I was truly satisfied with the food. The restaurant is bigger and staff really tries maximum to get you your food on time. I could see that nobody had a break at the bar but worked hard. I wasn't in the area no more so I visited Viva Burger just once but I can recommend it and if I was around, I would probably visited this place again. Worth stopping for lunch.
