One of my best meals ever - Edit
Started off with a magical ameretto sour, I never had one before so can't really compare it to something I had, but it was sooooo good!
Read moreWe startade off with the sourdough focaccia, which had a nice "nordic twist" in contrast to an traditional focaccia.
For my main dish I got the Pappardelle all' Arrabbiata, I can hands down not think of a better dish I've ever had in my life, it was the perfect balance between creamy (thanks to the béchamel sauce on top) and spicy! My girlfriend got the Gnocchi al Pesto and she think it had the best herb oil.
And we ended with a tiramisu that had me in tears of joy, what a night and celebration of taste!
Pros: Friendly staff , Fair pricing , Fine dining 'feeling'
Cons: Light hanging over the table was a little bright

Okay Italian place - Edit
Nice and balanced menu. The portions are however a bit small. The gnocchi was delicious. They don’t have the regular soft drinks which was fun. The seating isn’t that great. You could find other places with Italian food. The restaurant is very central, close to the shopping street which is a plus. The waiter was nice and friendly😄

Heavenly Italian food! - Edit
What can I say, this place did not steal the title of best plant based restaurant in Copenhagen.
Read moreHeavenly Italian food, the classics but plant based and refined and cooked to perfection. Simplicity and taste, together with a great setting (be it on the terrace on the nice square, or inside in the Danish interior). Service is also very attentive and helpful.
Some highlights were the best foccacia I ever tasted (with salted crust and heavenly oil/vinegar), mushroom croquettes and a wonderful tiramisu.
Would recommend to any lover of tasty (Italian) food, whether you're a vegan or not :).
Pros: Foccaccia!, Great service, Italian classics refined and plant based
Cons: Can't try everything on the menu in one visit :)

Yummy fancy Italian! - Edit
If you want something a little upmarket then this place is fab! The flavours are great, as are the vibes of the space and professionalism of the staff. Prices are steep but great if you want to treat yourself to some high quality pasta!

Expensive and poor food - Edit
They only have one gluten free option (main dish) and one starter. The risotto tasted more like a soup than like a cremy dish. We payed 60 euros for two main and two lemonades. The quantity of food was insulting and they don't have wifi for clients.
Cons: Gluten free options, No wifi, Little food

Great food. Bad Seating - Edit
The food is easily some of the best vegan italian food I have tasted. The waiter was very friendly and explains every dish well and in an interesting way.
Read moreBut you are sitting on raw wood with no pillows or anything. My lower back and [censored] was sore as hell after eating. Enough to ruin much of the experience.
If you are sensitive to seating, bring your own pillow.
If the seating was good it would easily be five stars.
Pros: Food, Uniqueness, Autheticity
Cons: Seating

good food - Edit
good service and friendly staff. food all seemed very salty, too much for my taste, but was still good. bread came with olive oil but no balsamic vinegar which was odd. and there was olive oil on the mouse which was weird and not pleasant. the tiramisu though was excellent.

Tasty Italian food - Edit
Nice selection of Italian food and friendly staff. We had the focaccia and mushroom bechamel crocchette (apertivo) and for main course (Primi piatti) we had Pappardelle all’arrabiata and Risotto allo zafferano and finished with Tiarmisu and Cioccolato e fragole. The food was very good and we highly recommend the restaurant.

Great food - Edit
The sourdough bread was the best thing I’ve ever eaten! No bread will ever be the same. The main courses were good, but dessert was even better - definitely try the tiramisu! The service was very good with the servers explaining what was in each dish when they brought it out. Highly recommend!

Perfection - Edit
Everything about this place is just perfect; from the location in the beautiful cobbled square to the calm and cool decor and even the classic style of the cutlery (Italian of course) and that’s before we even start talking about the food!
Read moreCold water for the table kept coming and was very welcome and we went with the waiter’s recommendation of a rather lovely glass of rosé which was perfect with our meal.
We had the sourdough focaccia - one serving was plenty for at least the two of us and was pillowy and perfectly oily with a satisfying salty crust. We also had the white asparagus - both pickled pieces and grilled pieces brought together with a creamy red pepper sauce - the focaccia came in very handy for mopping up once we had finished the asparagus and we also shared a portion of mushroom
croquettes which were like arancini but intensely mushroomy and creamy in the middle and with a crisp exterior.
Our mains were spaghetti with Cavolo Nero and parsley butter - I have never had the experience before of melt-in-the-mouth kale so this was a revelation! and gnocchi with pesto (basil, parsley and mint) served with chive oil and crispy potato strips - little pillows of freshly made potatoey satisfaction generously sauced and perfectly seasoned.
We just had to say yes to a dessert despite having been so generously provided for so far and my dining partner went for the affogato topped with roasted hazelnut slivers and I had the Tiramisu which was as far from cakey and stodgy as you can imagine but was instead a delight of crisp, nutty, creamy (the pistachio cream was a revelation) and sweet - the tiny beads of orange gel were just amazing and gave just the hint of tang needed to bring that little moment of joy to an already perfect meal.
It’s not expected or required in Denmark to leave tips for the staff (according to Danish family members) unless you receive exceptional service or food so of course I tipped because this was truly exceptional.
Pros: Taste, Decor, Waiting staff

Quality vegan Italian food in central Copenhagen - Edit
Very nice and knowledgeable staff, and a good central location in a large square with several other Italian restaurants. Ordered the bruschetta and gnocchi. Both were very good. I would probably come back here and try out other items from the menu.
