One of my best meals ever - Edit
Started off with a magical ameretto sour, I never had one before so can't really compare it to something I had, but it was sooooo good!
Read moreWe startade off with the sourdough focaccia, which had a nice "nordic twist" in contrast to an traditional focaccia.
For my main dish I got the Pappardelle all' Arrabbiata, I can hands down not think of a better dish I've ever had in my life, it was the perfect balance between creamy (thanks to the béchamel sauce on top) and spicy! My girlfriend got the Gnocchi al Pesto and she think it had the best herb oil.
And we ended with a tiramisu that had me in tears of joy, what a night and celebration of taste!
Pros: Friendly staff , Fair pricing , Fine dining 'feeling'
Cons: Light hanging over the table was a little bright

Good starter, average mains - Edit
Love finding a fully vegan place but the pasta here was disappointing. It was a bit plain and the portions are a bit small especially for the price. The crispy mushroom balls were delicious.

good place for starters, but... - Edit
This is an all-vegan trattoria located in central Copenhagen. We were lucky to catch a table for two here, as the place was quite crowded on a weekend evening. Staff were friendly but obviously struggling with hords of guests.
Read moreThe starters and foccacia were excellent. The main dishes on the other hand took about an hour to being served and were very bland pasta dishes, both lacking spice and finesse. I would not serve food like this at home.
We mentioned not being excited, staff apologized and shrugged without consequence, so we just left the place. For the focaccia I'd come back (and love to have the recipe), the rest was below expectation, at least on this very day.
Pros: antipasti and focaccia, vibing atmosphere
Cons: poor main dishes, staff overburdened

The pasta is really delicious, but the portions is not that big and for a full stomach you need at least two portions.

Cosy and friendly with average dishes - Edit
Nestled in the heart of the city, V’italian offers a vibrant array of vegan dishes. The menu has basic but good italian, plant-based options. However, while the flavors are bold and satisfying, the pasta I had was noticeably heavy on salt, which can overpower the otherwise well-crafted flavors. Despite this, V’italian remains a solid choice for vegans and plant-curious diners, especially for those who enjoy savory, seasoned meals. A little adjustment in seasoning would make it truly exceptional.

A bit disappointing - Edit
I was really excited to try the pasta here but did not really like any of the three options we tried out. Nothing was “bad”, strictly speaking, but the flavours were just not really there.

Mixed feelings - Edit
Excellent starter and dessert.
Read moreThe way the main dish was explained I was hyped, thinking it’ll be just as good, a combination of unique flavors. The waiter’s recommendation to „mix it up“ gave it away, in retrospect. A bland tomato/oil sauce dominated this dish, but the homemade noodles were admittedly well done, the garlic chips a highlight.
Pros: Starter, dessert
Cons: Main dish bland

Delicious food and nice staff - Edit
It turned out to be not fully vegan but vegetarian with several vegan options. The food was cooked on order, and so well-made and delicious. The waitress was helpful and nice. We sat outside in a lovely square surrounded by restaurants, and with a large gorgeous maple in the middle.

Varm anbefaling - Edit
Vi havde en god aften på V’Italian. Menuen med fire retter var en oplevelse for såvel øjet som ganen. Betjeningen var særdeles venlig og opmærksom, og stedet har en god atmosfære. Jeg kan anbefale restauranten på det varmeste.

I really enjoyed the Pasta Alla Norma here. The plant based cheese was the perfect compliment for the pasta sauce. Combined with aubergine and peas, there was an absolute array of flavours dancing on my taste buds!
Read moreI also had the antipasti with burnt peaches to delight my tongue further still.
Service was offered with enthusiasm and a smile, and the plates came artistically arranged.

Pros: Tasty food, Pleasant service
Cons: Needs a larger menu with more options

Not as good as expected - Edit
Honestly after reading all the good comments we were expecting something better considering also the high price. As a vegan who cares about balanced nutrition it was sad that fully vegan place didn't really have any meal that would have a good source of protein in it. Food was okay but definitely overpriced.

Best Italian food - Edit
The pesto gnocchi was the softest and best gnocchi Ive ever tasted! Tiramisu was served with a cognac sauce and was divine. If you're in Copenhagen, don't miss V'italian but best to make reservations because this place is popular.

Great vegan Italian food! - Edit
With reason it was voted Copenhagen’s best vegan restaurant 2024! We had the olives to start, pappardelle arriabatta, and the best dish- gnocchi al pesto, complemented by a basket of bread to dip into the sauce. One of the best gnocchi dishes I have had - the pesto sauce was incredibly fresh. The restaurant is located on a charming plaza in central Copenhagen.

Außergewöhnlich 🫶🏼 - Edit
Wir haben das Risotto, Miso El Pepe und die Bruschetta gegessen und alles hat super geschmeckt. Ist mal was anderes. Die Preise sind verhältnismäßig für Kopenhagen normal. Drinnen war es außerdem sehr gemütlich, die Bedienung war freundlich.

Divine experience from start to finish - Edit
Our family of four had a lovely, memorable meal here our first night in Copenhagen. The surroundings are casual but the food is elegant - beautifully prepared and presented. Everything was delicious from cocktails to dessert. The wait staff explain where ingredients are sourced and how it is prepared, making you want to really slow down and savor the care and attention that went into each dish. When a guest at a neighboring table asked which of two dishes his server would recommend, the server sat right down and shared a detailed explanation of each - not just the ingredients but the experience of eating each dish. That kind of passion for food can’t be faked and made for a wonderful evening.

Trendy Vegan Italian Place - Edit
We had the Pasta alla Notma nd the Gnocchi with Pesto. The place is slightly upscale, presentation rather fancy in a hip way. Expensive. The Pasta was good, the grilled eggplant was a very interesting touch, but not a lot of it. The Gnocchi were Solid and rather Classic, besides the fried onions on top. Overall a nice place with friendly Service, worth visiting, but it didn't totally wow us.

Great and fancy vegan food - Edit
Best gnocchi ever! The focaccia doesn’t look great in the pictures, but it is so fresh, soft and tasty! I really loved the mousse and just wished they didn’t add the olive oil (which is very tasty and great quality) but it takes away the sweetness and flavour from the mousse which is AMAZING! I wish I could have a whole bowl of their mousse 🤭 I would not ordered the miso & Pepe again as I thought it was ok but not something I would pay to eat, but the GNOCCHI!!!! The BEST EVER!!! I am not a fan of gnocchi, my bf ordered it and when I tried I was sad I didn’t ordered myself. The ravioli was very interesting, I am not that used to high end restaurants, so was a bit weirded out by the fermented blueberries, but the whole dish together was great. The mushroom crocchette was great as well. When I go back my order will definitely be the gnocchi and the mousse (without the olive oil on top).

New taste horizon - Edit
If going to V'Italian, you should not expect classic tasting italian cuisine. We were suprised with every bite we took. It was very original, not always our taste but surely very interesting and new! Worth the try. It feels like a gastronomic restaurant ! Very attentive staff, beautiful presentation (with small portions) and a discovery of new tastes. Other positive aspects: they seem to be zero waste, pads and tampons in the toilets and a sink in every toilet.

The pomodoro slaps - Edit
Really enjoyed this place and hype that there is a totally vegan Italian place in Copenhagen. The pomodoro with aubergine hit all the flavour marks for me, with the pops from the capers, a really nice slight spice to the sauce, fresh basil leaves, nice and slightly sour tofu "ricotta", and a beautifully cooked eggplant with just a hint of smoke, all on top delicious el dante spaghetti. My partner's pappardelle was also good but lacked a bit of excitement and was good but not wow. We also had croquettes to start which were nice but not amazing and we agreed we wouldn't have missed out without them. Wish I could've ordered dessert but I can only eat/spend so much and we had to save room for Moo Moo gelato. Nice and balanced menu. The portions are however a bit small. The gnocchi was delicious. They don’t have the regular soft drinks which was fun. The seating isn’t that great. You could find other places with Italian food. The restaurant is very central, close to the shopping street which is a plus. The waiter was nice and friendly😄

Heavenly Italian food! - Edit
What can I say, this place did not steal the title of best plant based restaurant in Copenhagen.
Read moreHeavenly Italian food, the classics but plant based and refined and cooked to perfection. Simplicity and taste, together with a great setting (be it on the terrace on the nice square, or inside in the Danish interior). Service is also very attentive and helpful.
Some highlights were the best foccacia I ever tasted (with salted crust and heavenly oil/vinegar), mushroom croquettes and a wonderful tiramisu.
Would recommend to any lover of tasty (Italian) food, whether you're a vegan or not :).
Pros: Foccaccia!, Great service, Italian classics refined and plant based
Cons: Can't try everything on the menu in one visit :)
