Honestly, my first experience at Verdine was not good but only because I got the waterworks burger which is just a beyond meat patty and I don’t like beyond meat but the orange cauliflower is amazing and I have no words for how delicious the bbq tempeh sandwich is. I also got their fries which were delicious and the snickerdoodle cookie which was probably the tastiest cookie I’ve ever had. It was my cheat night and it was totally worth it. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve been to Verdine about 4 times. Overall a very good experience. Although sometimes slightly inconsistent on the service, I think it’s still a very nice place to dine out and no other fully vegan places compares in Houston. Nice ambiance, nice selection, a little on the overpriced but not overly excessive. Portions are not large, but fair. Overall the tastes are refined and the ambiance is nice. If you haven’t tried it yet, it’s worth the try.

Absolutely my favorite - Edit
This is my favorite vegan spot in houston. The food is simply phenomenal and the staff is so friendly. Everytime I go I feel invited and welcomed. They introduce new things to the menu often and the desserts are the bestttttt!

We went at 7 pm on a Friday and the place was busy and had a great atmosphere. The service was perfect - fast and cheerful. Food was fine - nothing to write home about. Cauliflower was a bit too sweet and tofu with quinoa was a bit greasy. The burger looked great and I will try it next time. Cheesecake was supurb though!

Deliciously tasty, well seasoned, filling dishes, 100% vegan! Good eating with a purpose - fine dining, cruelty free. Awesome Sunday brunch, better than I remember non-vegan food tasting. Creamy cheese grits with crispy tempeh bakun, with a side of crispy, quartered red potatoes - home fries on the menu. Companions enjoyed their Chick'n & waffles, & eggs Benedict. Lovely modern space with lots of natural sunlight streaming in thru large windows indoors, with nicely landscaped patio seating as well. High chairs, play area outside makes for family friendly atmosphere. Friendly, knowledgeable, helpful personnel. Moderate to expensive prices. Menu differs during the week, evenings & weekend. Busy shopping area with good variety of shops. Lot and street parking. Well done transition from former food truck, RIPE Cuisine.

I went for a fundraiser for FFL, and the curry fries were not great. They were soggy and the flavor was weird. I also got a bowl that had sweet potatoes, maple tempeh (which was way too sweet), garlicky greens (which were way too garlicky), and some rice that tasted way too earthy (think dirt). The flavor profile was all over and didn't go well together. And my bill for those two things and a drink was over $30! It may have just been an off day for them, but mine was meh enough I don't think I'll go back.

It is an amazing place. The restaurant is very cozy and clean. The food was very good. We had waterworks cheeseburger and jackfruit Tacos which was super good. German chocolate cake was so good also.

This place has a nice open inviting atmosphere and most menu items manage to come in around 10 bucks so its bang for the buck. Try the chili tots and the jackfruit tacos.

Tempura cauliflower is great. So is pizza and hamburgers. Donut holes are the only thing I don't recommend - not filled with chocolate at all.

Incredible food, atmosphere and staff - Edit
We came straight from the airport and did not regret our decision! The staff were so welcoming and even helped us with our luggage. There was a fantastic atmosphere with lots of locals enjoying vegan food and drink with great music. Within our group we had the cheeseboard, sushi, all 3 burgers/sandwiches and the Caesar salad. All were immaculately presented and packed full of flavour. Wish we could have stayed longer to try more dishes.

I absolutely loved this place. Splurged on the non-dairy cheese plate and it was worth every penny. Also got the jackfruit carnitas and they were delicious. Extremely friendly staff and fast service. Great quality furnishings throughout the restaurant as well. Can’t wait to come back.
