¡Brutal! - Edit

Fantastic vegan tapas - Edit
Large choice of tapas - all vegan. We had artichoke, teriyaki strewers, Barcelona „Bomber“, no salmon tartare and potatoes Bravas. Overall were excellent. My favourites are Bomber and no salmon. Super delicious.

Exquisite tapas, traditional dishes with a new interpretation - Edit
From beginning to end a great experience. Beautiful interior decor, from lighting to chairs and dishware - very well put together. The tapas were all incredible!

A must try for a traditional Spanish tapas evening. - Edit
What a find.
Read moreHaving stumbled across this by accident whilst walking home one night, we made a booking for the next evening.
The decor was stunning with a high wooden roof and modern furniture.
We opted for 6 dishes between 2 which was plenty of food given the generous portion sizes
The pictures attached include:
Velada braves (incredible)
Guacamole taco
Pan con tomato
Samosa chaat
Salmon tatre (incredible)
Barceloneta-style "bomba"
Whilst I was a little disappointed with the pan con tomate which was served on what seemed like a burger bun cut in half (but still very tasty) the rest of the food was presented beautifully and tated amazing.
The velada bravas were a strong hit and are served as roasted skin-on baby potatoes rather than the traditional fried cubes you would be used to. These are layered with an aioli and the traditional salsa brava. I would highly recommend that these feature in your selection.
The star of the show by far was the salmon tartre. Wow. Having not eaten salmon for over 2 years, I was amazed at how similar this was to the extent that I asked the owner how it was made. Speaking very good English, she took the time to explain the process despite how busy the restaurant was. Served on a bed of avocado with accompanying crackers, please choose this if you miss the taste and texture of salmon.
To round the night off, we were served complimentary macarons which were delightful.
Having ordered a bottle of wine at €20, we were expecting a bill in the region of €90 but were pleasantly surprised when the bill was only around €60.
Please don't miss visiting this place if you are in Barcelona!
Pros: Amazing flavours, Portion sizes, Amazing staff
Cons: Presentation of the pan con tomate

Good food, quaint setting, great service - Edit
Velada is a solid “go to” option when in Barcelona. The prep is very simple but extremely satisfying. It IS a tapas place so focus is on small plates, but there are bigger bowls and burgers.
Read moreService is exceptional; the waitstaff is happy, friendly, helpful, and quick without ever getting patronizing. Food is served up relatively quickly, which means much is prepared in advanced and heated but such is the nature of tapas.
Pros: Service, Food quality, Dining space
Cons: Menu could be more extensive

Grateful to find such a delicious restaurant in the heart of a tourist area. The artichoke hearts and Samosa chaat were our favorite of the many tapas we ordered. The server was lovely too.

One dinner time. Would go back if we come back to Barcelona - Edit
Bravas were excellent. The gazpacho was a little thin but tasty. The eggplant and chicken skewers was good but I'm not sure what the chicken was. Desserts were quite good but next time I would get ice cream without the figs. The carrot cake was really good.

Nice, but not as expected - Edit
We came for the creme brulee, how was it? Stay tuned.
Read moreFirst the service was amazing, we practiced our newbie Spanish with the camarero and he was excited about it :)
We ordered some alcohol which was good.
For the main course we shared some tapas, the most local and recommended one. Most of them were ok, the good ones were 'velada bravas', 'artichoke flower' and the '2 balls which I forgot their names'.
For dessert we took a mini banana cake and the figs which were fair, and the creme, of course, which was a bit of failure. The sugar crust didn't crack and the creme itself.. was a bit of a strange interpretation. It was ok but no creme brulee :)
Pros: Service, Atmosphere , Some dishes
Cons: Desserts

Not what I expect - Edit
For two people, we pay €31.5. We both won Bomba, which is to track it with jackfruit and eggplant, and two burgers, one with the no chicken one (which is frozen product and not home made ) in brioche ban vegan . My girlfriend buy one burger with beyond meat, mushroom and truffle oil, which is really nice, but also a small because she bought it on the Catalan ciabatta. And one bottle of water the place looks like fancy and expensive its really nice vegan restaurant but is not what I expected. I don't recommend it.

INCREDIBLE!! - Edit
This place is exquisite - there was two of us and we got 4 tapas to share plus a desert each - we started starving and left stuffed. There’s a good list of tapas options and a good selection of things for desert. The waiter even gave us some macaroons on the house! I would come back here to try the rest of the menu if I could! Interior is also really pretty and of course staff are really friendly

Good for having a plethora of dishes - Edit
I like the portion size and the pricing. It allows you to try a handful of dishes for the price of a typical dinner. Average price for a dish is €6~€7 and I think maybe 4~5 dishes per person is a good guess (you can also order one after the other until you're full, the wait isn't too long).

Exquisite Spanish Food - Edit
Beautiful restaurant, honestly just sitting in the historic space, the beautiful seating, lighting, and preserved art nouveau, looking up to see the ceiling tiles that marked the architects of the buildings on this square, there is something for everyone here. Delicious tapas, burgers, sopas, and crème catalan! A must see restaurant vegan or not.

Best Tapas in Barcelona! - Edit
First of all, the restaurant is stunning. Looks so good inside. Staff were amazing and really friendly. Now….the food….WOW! So tasty. It’s a tapas style restaurant and from what we had, we regret not having more. That cauliflower tikka masala is 🤤🤤. An absolute must when you’re in Barcelona. Do NOT skip this place! We also had Bravas (potatoes with Garlic Aioli) but they were so good we ate them before we could take a picture 😄
